Not sure about the auto's but I did connect a V1 with a 6060 last year so you never know.

Can't wait to hear of your results. BTW, your car looks familiar. Were you in a fender bender a couple of years ago on I275 S near 94? I remember seeing a nice V with nice wheels and same color involved.

Curious about the auto and price point. Probably be cheaper than a circle-d or rpm transmission rebuild

 

An opportunity came up with a connection I have at Tremec. They were looking for test vehicle to drop a Tremec 6060 Magnum XL into a CTS V (Gen 2). Their plans are to sell a complete package to the aftermarket community. We even kicked around the 6070 7 speed as well. Long story short, Tremec happens to be 15 minutes from my house, I drove my V into the plant where a few Engineers did a lot of measuring/inspection. Tremec had lined up a Twin Disc Clutch from ACE, 2 representatives flew in from Wisconsin to see the build. Also Dynotech designed a 1 piece drive shaft as well. Here are a few photos, no cutting to the tunnel required...more pictures to come as well as the driving experience.

Car is at Stenod Performance in Troy MI where I had a BTR Stage 3 Cam, C&C Ported heads and supporting mods all done at the same time. I should have the car back next week in time for the Woodward Dream Cruise coming up. Tremec plans to put my V on display with some of their upcoming sponsored events.
