GForce unit comes with better half-axles and other components (IMHO). When I looked at them closely, it really wasn't a fair fight - and the cost difference wasn't huge.

For all out power, I'd say yeah, GForce could be the better choice, but I'll never make that much. It looks like it's not a priority for them right now, but CS said they were going to make a stock driveshaft adapter, like they did for the V1, which would drive down the price a ton.

Yeah, the aluminum driveshaft to mate up is like 20% of the total cost. You keep plugging the C/S diff because it's slightly cheaper. I get it, but still...

GForce uses Strange third member, S-Trac helical gears and a 9" Carrier with quality GForce axles and custom aluminum driveshaft. The one-piece machined axle hubs and poly bushings are also high quality. You also get a huge spectrum of gear options, and the Strange S-Trac is amazing. It is a tank of a unit and will handle literally anything you can throw at it, indefinitely.

The Creative Steel uses a Ford 8.8, weaker but "good enough" per Creative Steel. The carrier housing is a little... odd, but I suppose it's functional, however the Detroit locker is known to be more harsh in driving. CS also provides a carbon fiber driveshaft, which are known to fail (the glue melts - I had this happen personally from a different vendor).

But aside from being inferior in literally every way, "probably good enough" to handle the high torque of a high horsepower V, and comes with a driveshaft that's destined to fail and thus require replacement... it's still an honest 16% less expensive - as long as you don't count a spare driveshaft. ($6200 instead of $7400 per my options). AND it comes with a T-shirt.

In short, I just think if you have to go aftermarket, GForce is the hands-down better option and worth the money. That's why I bought one.

Ah, I wasn't aware of the CF driveshaft issue. In that case, yes, I would totally go GForce. If/when CS makes the stock driveshaft adapter, then it would be very very cheap, with no driveshaft failure, so would be a good option. Let's hope they pull through.

Update: "Rebuilding" the stock diff doesn't work as there are no new gears available. I rebuilt mine with all new bearings, it was quiet for a few hundred miles and then roaring again.
The only fix is a totally new factory diff (if you can locate one) OR.... a new aftermarket diff conversion from Creative Steel or Gforce.
Only other possibility is finding a low-mile used one. Good luck with the search

Thanks for the update bro, i think im gonna wait till my Diff breaks down and i will order a CS diff cuz paying for another unserviceable diff is kinda a wrong decision for a the long term.
