And I just hit a 4X4 on the highway yesterday and cracked two of my wheels. So I am definitely trying to find some 20in wheels now. The homework begins.

Holy lift kit batman... I can see clear under the car to the other side... Not a fan... JMHO

And those Rubber Band tires... Watch out there is a penny in the road, don't want to crack a rim.

Nothing like no wheel gap but huge under frame gap! Some cars work well with 22's...I don't think ours is one of them.

This is the perfect look to me, I wish they had more info on the dimensions...smh

No...this car doesn't look right at all. Good in pictures but these tires are way too small. They compensated by lowering it WAY down but look at the fender gap in front and behind the tire...HUGE. Looks OK in pictures but I bet in person this looks really wierd.

Bet it helps with ground effects too LOL!! When you say lift kit, you did mean aerodynamic lift right??

We have two camps here clearly...those that buy wheels and tires solely for looks and those that buy them for function. But there is a reason wheels and tires are in the "Appearance" section. I think it should be in a performance section but that's just me. If a wheel looks as good as it performs, that's a plus. But a wheel that looks good and doesn't perform is like a woman with the same qualities...

The problem with the CF10 pic is the front springs need to be cut...looks good otherwise. I think the idea of 22s needs to die though

2nd. No disrespect to the guys pushing for 22's but the car can look damn good on 20's or 21's wrapped in some sweet Super Sport rubber that performs killer too.

I think the right look is better obtained thru proper flush fit with the fender edge (i.e. - spacers or custom offset wheels built for your car) and proper fender gap via lowering of the car thru your method of choice. All can be done without totally jacking up the beautiful ride and handling of this fine specimen.

22's on the CTS-V body frame looks odd because it isn't a large sedan. 20's are a plus one up size wise and the difference between 20's and stock 19's is a suttle one which works. Anything larger that 20's and the CTS-V starts to have either a lifted look or a chuck wagon appearance (both look odd & just plain strange). I'm not a wheel gut though, IMHO the CTS-V stands for what it is; doesn't need much help to be more or improved. If just some simply everyday run of the mill car (appliance), sure new or better rims may help but the V doesn't need any help.

imho, 21's max. Or a staggered setup of 21's in the rears and 20's up front but not sure of the tolerance window for speedo clibration and errors it could throw.

evilb's wagon on 21's look d'lish and well thought out imho. I'm not a fan of black wheels but love evilb's stance. Coupled with the painted gloss black roof and chrome trim for attention to detail. I hate this forum! *see sig*

After getting 20" wheels with the right spacing to fit flush with the fender... going back to stock wheels for winter now looks retarded! Lol. I keep looking for rear spacers....

Funny how perspective changes.

I definitely don't subscribe to the same theory. Everything can be improved. ;)

I've never kept stock wheels on a single car in my life. Closest thing to it was doing a 5 lug conversion on one of my Fox bodies then installing "stock" sn95 wheels on it.

I actually had my HREs for my Cadillac for several months before I even bought the car.. I'll admit tho, for stock wheels, the cts-v's are really nice.. just can't do stock

The only car that I almost bought that i'd consider keeping the stock wheels on was the 2007+ RS4. But probably not..lol

After seeing all the bad ass rides, hearing all the advice from members and much thought, I've decided to go 20x12-345/25/20 and 275/30/20 with 20x12/20x9 with Eibach Pro Kit. The look of the 21's/22's on the V is awesome, but I bought the V for performance. I have 22's on my 300c with a 265/35/22 and sweating every pothole, not to mention the uneasy feeling when sliding around a corner when on the pedal, sucks. Popped a band in one tire simply going down the highway. Thank you all for your pics and input, its greatly appreciated!

Don't space out winter wheels. Keeping them tucked in keeps the slinging of ice and salt down the side of your car to a minimum. Function > form in this case.

22" Wheels??

No dice

Man! All these V's look good and I appreciate all the input. Definitely going 345/25/20 & 275/30/20 with 20x12 and 20/9. Going with Pirelli's as the PSS are not available through my distributor currently. I was going with Rennen International RL-M5/ RL-M6 or RL-55's but they are really pricey which I anticipated, but think Im going a little lower end. Anyone have thoughts on X/O wheels?

This is my coupe. 22s staggered, 22x9.5 front and 22x11 rear. 295/25/22 rears. No rubbing, a little stiffer but I drive with caution and don't hit train tracks going 100. Not lowered but side skirts to give appearance and fill gap to road. I love the look and get compliments daily, but to each their own. Good luck.
