2013+

Lower miles on average, typically all of the motor and trans updates, 2-piece brake rotors, overall better color options.

But mileage and price trump the year as stated.

Hello. I looked for almost a year to find the right car and when I was done, it was low mileage and a squeaky clean Carfax report, that sealed my confidence. My '09 CTS-V was a two-owner being offered by a Porsche dealership. I called the service departments that had serviced the V for ten years, to speak with techs and get as much info as possible. Also, I believe that about 10k of all the V2 Caddys and ZL1 LSA Camaros were affected by the SC problems. Not all LSA cars have defective blowers. Mine is 10-years old with 30k- miles and is nice and quiet. I of course keep my ears open though. Best car I've ever had.

I have an '09 that I bought in '10. I am almost turning 100k miles. I keep it well maintained. There really isn't too much difference in years of the gen 2. Just find one that is well maintained in your price range. I can tell you that I JUST replaced the starter and the front shocks. Only mods I have are New Era intake, lowering springs and Creative Steel front suspension bushings. It has been nearly a flawless car the entire time I have owned it.

You may have said but how many miles. My dealership just replaced my SC 3 weeks ago. This is the 3rd one counting the factory original. Second SC started making noise 2 weeks after they replaced it. Just something to think about. So it seems they a r e still replacing them. I have a 2010. Just hit 100,000 miles. The strange part is after they replaced it, I left. Got on it about half throttle and had no boost, or very little. Took it back, they ordered some more parts and called me the next day with it finished. Now for some odd reason my boost Guage hits almost 12lbs when I get on it. I know people are gonna say I'm nuts but no shit. It is what it is. Guage seems to be fine but seems odd to me also. Any answers out there.
The 2009 and 10 doesn't have a backup cam and the 12 did get a software upgrade in the tranny but as some said. Whats important is how it was taken care of. Happy shopping.

Your boost will drop a bit as the sacrificial coating wears a bit on the rotor edges. Sounds like the bypass wasn't set up after the previous replacement, but then was corrected on your last visit.

Correct, the “added” boost will go away quickly on a new supercharger as it breaks in.
