I know the 29k mile cluster came from the donor car that they pulled a lot of the rebuild parts from. I posted the full build thread from ls1tech in here.True, but where did the "original" cluster, which is a V cluster come from?
His partner that helped him with the build stated the last carfax reading on the V6 Wagon was 66k miles.the v6 cluster was probably burnt
someone said carfax for the v6 car was 66k miles
who in their right mind would buy a car from this person its like a riddle
Putting aside the odometer and personality nonsense, and there was a realistic price, I might have said what the hell, saved myself $40k cash, and bought this as a beater.Seriously why would anyone touch this non-v Frankenstein car, non numbers matching, unknown mileage on actual car as well as drivetrain.
Not everything works, who knows what else was compromised or missing that is not V specific.
How would insurance even cover this car in a wreck? Does all the safety equipment work such as airbags, belts and pretensioners?
Too many questions even if at best it was all done correctly.
The only way this type of project works is someone who can't afford a real v and builds this on the cheap. Typically you would be best to drive it until the wheels turn square or part it out or scam and try to sell it with doctored mileage and claim it is same as real V

Like I said, there is a sucker born every minute and all it takes is for the one ignorant buyer to come along and buy it at the price you are offering. Again, not trying to take anything away from your work, which looks really good, but to come on a forum and think that someone here is going to buy a salvaged clone car for full retail and no warranty....I hope that you do sell it for your asking, that means I can sell mine for $70K..lolmy Z06 for the record was a base C6 rebuilt off of a wrecked 08 C6Z. It too was a clone AND yes I got way more money than I would have for a clean title base C6 car. Trust me you guys I know my shit. Yes I will without a doubt get north of 42K for this car and yes I'm absolutely sure of it. It won't be on here obviously because of the hate but yes it will sell for north of 42K without much effort (and yes with full disclosure). I will not get into the past 8 r-title cars I sold in the past 2 years and each and every time I go thru this on the forums lol funny thing is I've yet to be stuck with OR had to drastically reduce the price of any of my cars. I'm talking everything from a 2010 Genesis base coupe that was swapped to a 3.8 6 speed manual (2013), I sold that one for (damn near) clean title 2013 price and yes I got it.
Keep the hate coming on, it is mere entertainment for me at this point while I drive my wagon and pile the miles on. Once the timing is right I guaranty you I will get my full asking (or very close to it) without much effort. If I can find a base C7 car that is salvaged I will buy it and clone that one too to a C7Z or a 3lt Z51 car and do the same thing! Hate all you want but I will be the one in the end with satisfaction (when I'm counting my 42k+) in cash. Remember I want to sell my car I don't need to sell my car, btw anything less than 40k to me is a laugh.
I had somebody offer me 15K for my vette btw because according to his logic a base c6 with salvage title was only worth that much. I sold it a week later for 33K (was asking 36). It had some mods and like the V clone was pretty much immaculate. Lets just wait and watch, then we will really see the hate come out.
When you have connections with an auction company things can "slide" through.Dang you guys are almost as good as the bullet! Shady shit going on for sure. I kind of wish he was still here lol! He has to be a used car dealer to find these swaps so convenient and cheap. Anybody check the Cl and autotrader for his area yet?
thats an understatement, i believe he runs their website lolWhen you have connections with an auction company things can "slide" through.
His silence says a lotHe logged back in on the 26th, I guess he didn't like what he was reading and decided not to comment.
Because it's a train wreck. Don't want to watch but can't look away...Why did this get revived?

Im still waiting for this post.....I will be 100% sure to post a pic of the cash and true selling price (over 40k) when it sells. I cannot wait to hear what some of you cock suckers have to say then lol. Time is on my side. Btw I'm looking at a flooded black 2010 base wagon that I'm planning on doing the exact same thing on very shortly, just follow my next bud thread. It's obvious most of you guys don't know me or have the slightest of clue
Yea....this will be one of those times where we never hear back from you.
