UPDATE: I had the new TSB performed along with the heated seat TSB and steering bolt TSB. Footnote on the heated seat TSB, it's a reprogram in the ECM, it did not retain all the memory of previous selections. IE; I keep my passive lock "on" it was now "off" and didn't realize until after a trip to the grocery store.
Also, for those that had the dream of the new A-10 as the warranty repair (lol) the A-10 is doing the exact same thing....
Back to TSB, I'm good buddies with my tech and hang out with him. They add 20+ qts of new lower viscosity fluid. Hose tool is graduated and they siphon out finite amounts from the tranny cooler until the correct level is reached. Reset the module and done. They made it clear to give it 400 miles for final impressions.
Backspace, for the guys that comment it shifts "rough" or "hard", that's just what it is. Soft shifts are created by slip, slip is not good. Equally if you are in sport/race mode OR if you goose the shit out of it then want to drive normally that affects the shift feel until it can relearn your driving habits. If you want it rough, pound on it. If you want a daddy caddy put it in tour and put around for 50 miles, you'll notice a difference.
Shift feel is similar, I drive hard, 1/2 change is a good yank. Shift flash is finite, maybe quicker then before but marginal. I've put 100 miles on it so far, had two notable shutters but that is a 90% improvement. In short, jury is out BUT I really don't care. If I wanted amazing quality and craftsmanship I wouldn't have bought a GM. I wanted it raw power, something different and cheaper insurance then a vette. While not problem free, it keeps a smile on my face and life is way too short to worry about the small shit.....
