When I run my stock wheels I don't have any spacers in the rear and I use 1/4'' (appx. 7mm) in the front on stock studs. I wouldn't go thicker on stock studs. Not lowered plus I daily my V3.

Thanks for the pictures. It's hard to tell because of the angle of the pictures. How does the front line up with the back? Is it sitting as far out?
It looks real close to sitting even with the rear.

H & R has spacers (TRAK+) that come with the extended studs. But not specifically for the CTS-V. It's for a Camaro. But the bolt pattern and hub measurements are identical to the V.

I'd say it takes about an hour and a half per side from start to finish. The caliper definitely needs to come off in order to remove the old studs and put the new ones on. The rest of it is pretty easy. There's a couple of YouTube videos that helped. I didn't need any special tool. My buddy help me out. He's not a professional mechanic but knows what he's doing. It also give us a chance to catch up.

What extended studs did you buy?
Go to US Wheel Adapter and they'll sell you everything you need, studs, spacers, hubcentric spacers, you name it. All aluminum, no plastic bullshit. Prices are competitive. I run 5mm hubcentrics on all 4 corners due to my wheels
