Thanks bud! When you get the final estimated price (not including appearance mods) and hp numbers, let me know and I'll update. That is one nasty build for sure!

#4 ·
Fingers crossed this week for numbers (dyno and $$).

Good list man...love to see stuff like this and it really helps the new guys coming on see the range of mods, costs, etc.

#6 · (Edited)
Awesome idea. I'll start with my stock numbers, then update in about 2 weeks with about 100rwhp worth of mods.

Bone stock:

463rwhp/450rwtq on (2009 Sedan, Dynojet, 91 octane, 66 degrees, A6)

Its $120 worth of insurance in the higher lift valve train. Same for pushrods. Also have to change the cam gear to a three bolt setup like the lsx platforms with cam.

Hey X, my bad on the HP post. My car is untuned at the 488 with Corsa. :).

*If you'd like to list your mods, numbers and price but don't want to list who you are, please PM me the info and I'll keep your name off the thread.*

Hoping this will grow pretty large and we can make a sticky out of it. (That's what she said)

Puff - Do you have a price for all of the engine performance mods (not including wheels and brake pads, although they are sweet)?

#14 ·
Thanks man. Glad you're helping out our fellow V brothers here. I'm incredibly jealous of your ride. Let me know when you want to trade!

#17 ·
Of course! Just wish I had a list like this when I was getting started.

Spread the word so we can get more mods posted up

Come on guys. 600 views and only a few entries?

If you don't want to include your cost, that's fine, we'll drive on without it. Just looking to get more stats on here for the future and current members of this great site.

HeavyH20,

Thanks for posting! Great info. for us noobs...

#24 ·
HeavyH20 -

Thanks for contributing! Very helpful information as people can look through all the stages. Just had a few specifics I was hoping you could answer:

Who did your tunes before Ed?
What type of CAI do you have?
Who ported your snout prior to Jeremy?
Which brand of HX?
Which brand of spacer do you have? Guard dog or D3
And was the LS7 TB ported or will it be getting ported from Jeremy?

I'm running to lunch. I got a couple of your stages already posted and will do the rest once I get back. Let me know what numbers you get from your last stage as well!

Thanks for your input guys

Not a problem. It's the least I can do for y'all.

I'm sure it doesn't hurt having the best standings on the list so far!
