I've owned the black diamond and the raven, the diamond is my fav. Beautiful if taken care of.
I was actually looking for Raven Black when I found my BDT, wasn't a fan at first, but now I'm elated. I have a buddy with a OBM wagon that we go to a lot of shows together, everyone takes pics of my paint then ogles over his wagon.

BDT is amazing, love that color so much bought two of them.

I like the black diamond over peasant black.

lol

Man you're crazy! Everything I have is black ( Silverado, GSXR 1000, Durango SRT) and the V shows less dirt than anything. And there definitely isn't too much flake. It gets compliments no matter where I go. It's a toy and it's usually clean but it definitely doesn't show dirt as bad as straight black.

I really liked the black diamond when it was a special edition the first year, but when I bought my '14, I wanted the one of rarest colors of that year, so no blacks, silver, whites , greys or reds, so I went with plum metallic. Bought it sight unseen. I think it looks a little muddy in average light, and almost black in the dark, but I have to admit it really pops in bright sunlight, especially with the dark blue pinstripes. I tried lime pinstripes, as well as red and magenta, but they weren't right at all. Still, plum is not my favorite color of all time but at least its unique

, but at least I'm the only purple one at most car shows

I did some clay bar and ceramic on mine and it looks much better
The only thing I have come to regret about BDT is that touching up rock chips is virtually impossible. If any of you have a solution, let me know.
My hood has a bunch of em

I use this and its perfect match... use the "pin point" applicator vice the brush end for rock chips. Works beautifully.

Thanks for that. I have now ordered it. I had seen it before, but because of the the flake in the clear, I have a pretty low expectation of a one-shot application's performance. However, since you said so, I ordered it on the strength of your review.

Now, if it doesn't work.....

Just make sure you shake it well each application to stir up the flake.

I ordered this as well but got the Duplicolor as it had over 11k reviews compaired to the OEM at just 23 reviews.
I have yet to try it out though and will be doing so this weekend.

Where did you get said Duplicolor, Dave?

Although, the shape of the OEM is rather phallic...
