11/3/2015 UPDATED ***LOTS OF NEW PICS***

10/30/2015 - Car received a full paint correction including decontamination, 2 stage polish, glaze sealant, pure carnuba wax as well as a deep complete interior and engine detail.

Well I've decided it's time to move on from the V and get something more practical and put more time and money in my Turbo Trans Am and C10. I ordered a new Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel the other week, so once that comes in the V will need to go, so the car will be available in about a month or if needed sooner we can figure out a deal. I know I'm going to regret selling this car and I'll probably end up with a V2 again at some point but I've had the TTA since I was 16, the C10 has been a dream build, and I don't have a need or place to put 4 cars. I work in San Antonio or I make a trip to Houston about once per month.

To start, this car is a DD I bought it about 2.5 years ago with 24,500 miles on it and it now has a little less than 70k miles. I'll do my best to describe everything on it.

Mods:
  • 2.5/9.1 pulleys with IW balancer with solid isolater
  • LT1z Stage 2.5 cam, LS2 style dampener, billet chain
  • LS9 head gaskets
  • High flow oil pump
  • BTR lifters
  • ARP head studs
  • BTR dual springs with titanium retainers
  • Ported LSA heads
  • Ported LSA blower
  • Ported Snout
  • 102 mm NW throttle body
  • Gforce 4.5" intake
  • ZL1 lid custom engraved with V logo
  • ID850 injectors
  • GForce Racing tuned
  • Track Attack heat exchanger
  • Norcal HX box
  • MSD plug wires
  • Kooks 1 7/8" headers to 2.5" resonators to stock mufflers
  • Alky Control single nozzle kit (installed and wired but still needs tuned)
  • Moroso catch can
  • Aeroforce monitoring gauge
  • Weathertech mats front, rear, and trunk
  • Core short throw shifter with black hurst knob
  • Goodridge stainless brake lines and DOT4 fluid
  • 3M clear bra on the front
  • Ceramic tint all around (I think it's like 30% on side and rear windows and 90% on front and sunroof)
  • Eibach Prokit springs (not installed)

As you can see, no expense was spared on the parts. All parts install was done by myself or a friend who works for KP Racing. The car has always been tuned by Mike at GForce and the current mods have been on for over a year and 10k miles with no issues.

Now for the bad, I will list everything that I know is wrong with the car:
  • The paints has chipped on the drivers door handle. The car was backed into on the street that damaged the drivers door. The panel was replaced and paint matches great but after about a year I don't think the paint adhered well to the plastic handle
  • Clips on the underhood fuse box are broken, the lid stays in place fine and is not noticeable until you go to take it off
  • The radio head unit screen flashes on and off. I had it replaced once under warranty and they redid the wiring, it was fine for awhile but recently started flashing again. I think it's just an issue in the wiring or connectors not making good contact.
  • Sometimes it stumbles at around 2500 rpm but it normally happens in open loop under part throttle. (taking back to Gforce for more drivability tuning if not sold soon)
  • The original wheels have some curb rash

I have A LOT of extra and original parts to go with it including airaid intake, ported throttle body, original floormats, cam, lid, heat exchanger, car cover, and some other original parts.

I'm asking for $36,500 Please PM me if you have any questions, I will try to respond as quick as possible.

Is the original TB ported by Mamo? What would you want for it shipped to Toronto?

Its actually a ported LS3 throttle body from weaponx. For right now I dont plan on selling any parts separate unless its the weld wheels because I'm in the process of moving and have parts in 3 different places right now. If the car hasn't sold in a month I'll start listing the extra parts I have for sale.

As for the Welds, I've had several people pm me already. I'll let the wheels go separate for $1800 for local pick up in San Antonio only. There's only maybe 10 passes on them total and lots of life left.

It has the factory clutch and still holding strong, I've never had it slip.

What kind of ET and mph does it run? Ever had N20 hooked up?

I've only run it at the track twice (once at ~580 rwhp and once at ~660rwhp), the best that I have gone is 11.4@126 with a lot of room left in 60', I believe it was a 2.2 60' on that run. I just never ran it enough to figure out the launch, it always bogged or spun and it was a street night at the track with minimal prep.

I've never sprayed it, I considered it but ultimately the car is my daily driver with nothing to replace it so I always needed it to get to work the next day. Also, once I started looking at the cost for a proper nitrous bar setup, standalone fuel system, rps clutch, etc I decided I'd just rather be getting into a purpose built car with proper safety systems.

I absolutely hate you, why couldn’t you do this before the oilfield went to shit in a handbag? I guess I should thank you, but man I want that car.

Car is still for sale. I've had a lot of interest in the welds so I'll be trying to get some pictures of them tomorrow. I'll also try to get some more pictures of the car.

I've posted the weld wheels for sale separately. If/when they sell I'll adjust the price of the car accordingly. I'll try to get some more pictures of the car this week.

I've updated the original post to reflect price change due to selling the weld wheels separate. New price is $36,500 firm.

I've considered this option but it really isn't cost effective. I don't have the time to work on the car myself and there's very few people I trust working on it. For the mods that are easy to remove would be supercharger, snout, throttle body and intake, but by the time you pay for labor to swap the parts on both cars and then to retune the car we'd both just about break even if you just bought new parts. If you get beyond those parts the parts vs labor cost just doesn't work out. Needless to say I'm not really interested, but thanks for the offer.

Car is still for sale.

great car and price! i was the caretaker of TTA1294 for many years great fun cars!
Thanks, yeah I love my TTA and I'd never let it go. It'll be nice to be able to get it back out and take the t-tops out for a cruise like I'm back in HS.

Replied.

This last weekend I moved the car to my brothers in Houston where it'll stay. I just accepted a job where I'm out of town 3 weeks at a time so it's not really feasible for me to meet people to sell it. I'll give him my login for here and he'll update with some new pictures and answer any questions.

700 rwhp CTS-V Sedan

An updated picture of the engine bay with the engine cover back on, it really cleans it up under the hood IMO
