Where is the BCM Located????

Can someone tell me where the BCM ( Body Control Module) is actually located?? I have looked under the driver and passenger side dashes. On the passenger side dash all I could find was the temperature control module and I didn't see the BCM anywhere under the driver side dash. Yes I unscrewed the plastic panels and did not see the BCM any where...

This is all coming about because fuses are blowing non stop from the BCM 2 fuse spot, it's a 10 amp fuse. For those interested, the BCM 2 fuse controls the lights in the glove box, the steering wheel control lights and the dash lights. If I put a 15 amp fuse in the lights work, but flicker heavily. Then the 15 amp fuse will eventually pop. And yes we have checked all grounds and nothing is loose. This was confirmed by a mobile electrician who plugged up his tools and stuff and determined the BCM is bad.

Any help is appreciated.

It's the panel below the steering wheel. Pop side cover on the end that looks like a fuse cover. Pop the 2 trim piece off the dash both sides of steering wheel(carbon or wood), under dash black plastic pull that off(3 screws and it kinda snaps by the pedals), then grab that knee booster panel and gently tug from the bottom it'll pop loose.

Now lay upside down and unplug the throttle pedal(the hardest part of this). The bcm is to the right of the column above the throttle pedal plug. Had I think 6 plugs. Take note of location of colors then unplug them and wiggle harness out of the way.
The bcm will pull straight down, a small tab u need pull out of the way to release it.

Gm book supposedly gives 1.5 hours or so. I did it 2x now and can do it in under 15 minutes now lol

Why is your BCM going bad? How did you know? Odd symptoms? service lights?

im popping BCM #2 fuses left and right. called a mobile electrician and he plugged up some snap on tool and did some tests and said the BCM went bad. The steering wheel lights and the dash panel illuminating lights, as well as the compartment lights do not work ( only work when i put a 15 amp fuse in the BCM # 2 spot and then they eventually go out as the 15 amp fuse ends up popping too. When they do work, they flicker the entire time.)
