Some background on the situation first:
Intermittently for the last 2 years while driving normally in the city the car will ding and "service traction control" & "service stabilitrak" comes up on the display. With this warning along comes with hard upshifts and downshift from the 6L90, trans temps stay below 200.
I brought the wagon in for warranty work and they replaced the some component with the brake system to supposedly fix this issue.
I got the car back and everything appeared to be working fine for the last 3 weeks since I had the work done.
Now yesterday I was driving around in the city headed home from work and the car dings and "service traction control" comes up on the display. With this warning along comes with hard upshifts and downshift from the 6L90, trans temps stay below 200. The "service stabilitrak" warning has always been hand in hand with the "service traction control" warning when this has happened in the past, so I'm assuming whatever they replaced fixed part of the issue I was having.
Currently my stock front wheels are off of the car and I have to stock spare front wheels on the car without TPMS sensors in them, so the TPMS alert has been on for the last few days prior to the warning going off to "service traction control"
This also usually resets on itself once I turn my car off and turn it on again the next day. It usually won't repeat itself for a few weeks from when it last happened.
Now this morning I began to drive to work and within 10 minutes of being on the road the same ding and "service traction control" comes up on the display. With this warning along comes with hard upshifts and downshift from the 6L90, trans temps stay below 200. This time the CEL light on the left side of the DIC has come one, which has never happened before.
Any ideas?
