How much $$ for P&P blower and snout?

I'm looking at getting my blower ported and polished along with the snout, how much would I expect to pay? Also, if I leave my car as is with 11.5 of boost, what gains should I expect from a P&P or any other benefits?
Thank you

PM Robert at G-Force, he'll hook you up and I highly recommend them. I'm planning their 1.9l ported Sc/102mm TB/102mm intake later this year.

Another vote for Keith/KDI. I just did a fully ported blower/snout, everything...$1390+ shipping. Keith was the best, awesome service, got me the new blower exactly when I needed to have it (I did the install while on vacation for a week in the US) then got me my credit within minutes of getting my core back.

I've mated it with a ported LS7 TB and NE intake. Also have a LS9 cam, 8.6 lower and 2.5 upper, datalog shows the max boost went from 15.66 to 16.38 so it might be time for something more than a stock exhaust.

Cheers, Paul.

Everyone says competition/additional options brings pricing down, but not if no one knows the prices! From what I recall it ranges from $900+1,200

I agree. There should be no implied secrets around pricing - this is the internet after all...

I haven't looked into pricing but I think the blower porting is a bit North of $1000 and then a bit more for the snout?

As for gains from a ported blower I don't think there has been definitive numbers. And you also have to take into account the other factors such as the TB. Nobody can tell me which is the most restrictive part of the input air path - TB, snout, blower, heads...but FWIW I've heard gains of 25-40ish HP on a ported blower.

if you are doing a blower and snout port, you should also port the TB. they go together like secret and hgtv lol

most important thing is to make sure there are no retrictive airflow that will negate the benefit of this.

a full blower port, including tb will be > 1K

It's about 30rwhp "accross the power band" & about $1500 when the smoke clears (including the TB)...

I agree! I understand on parts to some degree due to qty and demand, but the labor to port a ford tb vs a gm should be the same right?

I had Keith do the port work on my blower/snout/tb. I can't remember how much I paid, but it was a fair price. I saw all the R&D he put into it in the beginning. There are alot of things to consider in deciding how much material to remove from where, the shaping, and other things. I know they spent alot of time and money coming out with their product. He also got my blower back to me right away. I put down almost 40 rwhp more. Have I mentioned it's been on my car for 25,000 miles now? lol It's been a great mod for the money and reliable.

Yes there is somewhat of a caditax but you do get what you pay for and you pay for what you get. This is the pinnacle sedan in luxury and performance. To port the blower is very labor intensive and there is some artistry to it. There is also a good chuck of change in tooling and supplies. Both other vendors here that are offer their service is a killer bang for the dollar and especially for the hours put in. I do believe that they both offer great products. It is a monumental task to try to offer something better than what they are doing.
We are doing everything we can to try to outwork them or bring more to the table for the same dollar!! Even if we offered the SAME product with less downtime it would be a plus. Its hard to compete but its good for the consumer.
We tried to price ourselves competitively at $1400 for everything TB, snout and Blower. In all that we do porting, tuning, etc. We want to be the guys the go over above and beyond. In regards to porting we have done some serious research and spent a lot of time on the dyno worked many late nights and been very blessed with some outstanding results. We have a 12year background in tuning and a 8yr background porting induction components. Our appeal is that we believe that we are offering to most aggressive port job out there and that we can turn around a blower in 4 days. In a few weeks weeks we will have cores and instructions for removal as well as shipping suggestions plus a few more results under our belt.
