After working through some minor issues on the seller's end, I finally received my childhood dream car. Ever since I saw my first Cobra I knew I wanted one (and didn't want to wait until I was 60 to own one). Fortunately I'm at the ripe age of 29 with plenty of time to enjoy the car while I'm still young.

After doing my research about 10 years ago, I was set on getting a Cobra built by Backdraft Racing. Their build quality is on point, and the car's aesthetics are extremely similar to the original Cobra at a much lower price point than it's expensive rivals (Superformance, Kirkham, etc.)

Anyways, the car has a 5.0L Coyote engine (400 RWHP) with a TKO600 five speed manual. I'd say it feels about as quick as a 550 RWHP auto V at the moment. It'll be getting a blower or some turbos on it in the near future.

I bought it with 750 miles, and I've already put 250 more on it in two days of driving!

My next door neighbor has a replica Cobra (can't recall by who) that is a SB motor with a blower and is putting down about 550whp. He took me out for a spin and that think gets loose like crazy in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. It takes major skill to keep it from spinning in circles with such a small wheel base. Congrats on the purchase man, they're amazing cars for sure.

If I get over 650, I'll spring for some ProEFI or whatever it is the Ford crowd uses.

One of these days I'm going to road trip down to Scottsdale in it. You're welcome to drive it of course.
