A/C Blower Motor

Past couple of days I had my blower motor on my air conditioning making a humming sound on high fan setting or a rhythmic click on low fan setting. Sounded like the fan blades were knocking something. Was already getting annoyed by it because I could hear it especially when I was barely running the a/c or heater. Well today I think the motor finally gave way as air won't come out at any speed but right before it went out it would only blow on high.

Just wanted to get a thread going in case anyone had the same issue and can use this in the future for help. My V is an '09 with 38k miles so I think it is not a good thing for the motor to go out this early.

Most sites I see have the 4 seasons blower motor(part 75809) around $130 while I am probably going to replace the original with an AC delco motor for
~$79. http://www.jcwhitney.com/blower-motor/cadillac-cts/c2293d219j1s21.jcwx

Has anyone replaced this on their car or does anyone know where a parts diagram is available? I figure I have to go through the glove box area to get to it but do not want to waste much of my time looking for it as I do not have much time. I also don't want to take the car to the dealership because the 3 times I have taken it in for work, the job has been 95% complete due to lack of detail.

Thanks!

Unfortunately the blower would not turn on with the filter completely out and the filter itself was not that dirty. I checked the fuses as well just to see if there was anything fishy like a loose connection but it looked ok.

I also realized that the fuse box cover under hood had all of the clips broken off like it was forced off with the passenger side cover panel. Is this common? I had some previous work done so do not know if it was the dealership or previous owner. I'll need to order a replacement lid just to make sure that area stays clean.
