If theres some version of Hell for cars, Im in it. Both my daily driver and my V have issues caused by wires under the car to sensors getting damaged. With the V the front bank drivers side oxygen sensor has melted against an exhaust header. I've already bought new Denso sensors but the problem is its broke at whatever the harness the oxygen sensor itself plugs into. It would be an absolutely royal pain in the ass to get that far under the car to try and splice it- if thats even possible so can anyone point me to whatever harness it is the oxygen sensors plug into? With my luck it will be some main harness with 15 connections GM wants 4 figures for.

Same here. Billy Boat sent the wrong extension when I bought my headers. Got them from Amazon the next day.

Yes, the plug you see is the rear. The plug you are looking for looks just like that only male. Was anything connected to the sensor you pulled out or was it already burned and seperated? The other plug should be near the other connector. With headers I don't think they could have gotten away with not using an extension.

Get some heat shrink tube to cover your solder connections if you go that route or use butt connectors to connect them. Once connected tape it up and move on. Just make sure you know which wires go where.
