On the new superchargers that GM is replacing, are they using solid isolators or just a better design from previous one? Is it still spring loaded or is it solid anyone know? Curious as to what they have done on the replacements to get rid of the noise.

Buy a solid one and replace the spring loaded one from your factory replacement as soon as you get it. I drove home from the dealer and immediately pulled the snout for a pulley swap. Yep, new/old spring isolator. Went right into the trash.

Lol.. Well that's the plan cause you gotta take the snout off for a pulley swap which I plan on doing this winter. You know what messes me up is what is GM thinking throwing in a spring loaded isolater back in there knowing it's probably going to do the same thing again. I don't get it.

I would recommend the Lingenfelter Performance solid iso (the "skeletonized" looking one).
