Just for fun since its similar to many builds here but in a ZR1.

Just finished this one up today.

Stock bottom end 376
Brodix heads, 2.165 valve
Stage 4 cam
E90 fuel
Return Fuel system , ID1750s
Ported 2650 2.625/8.6” lower
120mm TB
22 psi
2 1/8” primary headers 3.5” x pipe
Stock mufflers
7200 rpm or so
90* ambient temp
Good cooling but no ice.

Better get off the couch and get 'Those Fat Feet' moving, Blaire.
He’s going to be making as much power as you are, soon.

Congrats,,(y)
Don't have sufficient info regarding headsm cam or compression ratio.

But 'Me' thinks you have a good blower there, as the engine has to be
working in compressible flow to turn out that power.

Also, your net cylinder pressure calculates out at 2.16 ABS Pr.

This inferes the blower is very efficient at that rpm.
77.5% Efficient to be exact.

Torque at 936 lbs feet is 'Mind Boggling'.

=> (936 / 376)= 2.49 ratio
Going to have to 'Digest' that one..LOL

Are you simply stuffing 'Raw Corn' into the fuel tank
:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

WOW!

I assume this is the LS9 SBE that came in the car?

I believe you can still get a complete LS9 long block assembly directly from GM. Not that I would go that route if I "had" to build a long block, but I think the LS9 is one of the coolest engines GM has engineered.

SBE LS9
9.5:1 with the heads on it.

Best GM factory engine so far...

have u guys seen this over there, seems Harrop has a RP ''race port'' 2650 charger now for all out gains, seems to move some decent air even on 427ci 26psi with gains of 3psi over the non ported with same pulley config

Race Port. . . .
Assuming the 'Flow Area' within the runner and exducer
has been increased / ported, this makes perfect sense!

If the head has been ported to use a 'Minimum Circular Area' (MCSA) of say, 3.12 Sq"
and if the intake manifold is less, then the intake manifold will move into 'Velocity Choke'.

Doesn't matter where the velocity choke originates, it still stops the engine from accelerating.

Years back I attempted to generate interest for such a thing.
But no one responded????

Thanks for the informative post.:)

Cheers,

I had Matt's 2.5 in my M6 build with ported heads and all the BTR supporting stuff, and it sounded AWESOME! Not too much, but enough that it got looks. And milage was my concern also. I didnt want some high lift cam that would kill springs every 10k-15k, and Matt explained the 2.5 would be a lot less hash/hard on the valve train. I put 20k miles with zero issues. Mat 100% led me the right way for build.
Good Luck,
Jeff
