I'm confused a little. Could y'all explain the purpose of the boost bypass?

I was messing around with mine a little tonight trying to set the mount in the right place. So I need to mount the bracket like Razor did and then unscrew the set screw a little?

No problem. I need to realign my mount and set the screw. I just moved and I couldn't find my allen wrenches.

Which one is the vacuum line? Is it X,O, P ? What time is down under if its 12noon here? Cecil.............

There are 2 ports on the actuator.
The port furtherest from the bypass shaft (towards the front of a CTSV) is the vacuum; the port closest to the shaft (rearward in a CTSV) is the pressure.

I should have taken a picture of mine. Mine is stock but it wasn't mounted flush against the edge like your second picture.

So when the car is off, the bypass blade is all the way open?

So at idle, the actuator pulls the blade open and the blade is shut when the car is off. I'm thinking out loud here.

I can't mount mine as far towards the engine as I should be able to because my adjustment screw is threaded so far in that it pushes on the rod, which opens the bypass blade. I had to mount the actuator as far away from the engine as I could. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm thinking about just ordering a new actuator.
