I've read a few threads about people asking if you can heat a new pulley and slide it on while it's hot... I've done a bunch this way on Audi 3.0ts and can't see how it wouldn't work. Has anyone actually tried it? I'm thinking about making an Audi style puller to fit the v pulley... There's plenty of room to get in there with one. Before I go through the trouble I just wanted to know if someone has ACTUALLY tried this method and failed. And yes my car is already solid isolator so pulling the snout yields no benefit at this point. TIA
