Anyone used heat to install supercharger pulley?

Won’t work with heat. Tried heating the new hub on the grill for about 20 minutes and then tried to slide the hub on. Does not work. Main reason for at least from what I noticed is the hub is aluminum and absorbs the heat so well that it doesn’t get hot enough. Luckily I found a local shop that had a press.

Aluminum expands quite a bit with heat. It gets plenty hot, but cools quickly too.
