You did an awesome job putting it together, though!

$45k for a V6 salvage title with a V donor. I do admire the hardwork and follow through on such a huge project...

I'd do yourself a favor and just remove the bumper wrap. It doesn't look bad, but being salvaged, the bumper makes it look like you cobbled it together but didn't have enough money to paint all the parts the same color.

Still an impressive build, and I don't doubt that it's as just as nice as any factory one.

like I said guys it's what I'm asking and there is not a lot of wiggle room. You can keep negative comments to yourselves if it is not what you are looking for. Simply move along, I'm not pushed to sell it and I have issue at all keeping it. thanks

Holy crap! You are now selling this?

Aren't you the same guy that gave me a hard time about saying it's not a V, and you got all bent?

For anyone who didn't see that thread, here's the link:

M6 wagon on Cars.com

This guy is something else.

Buyer BEWARE.

Sent from my local E85 station.

Yea...not to start anything, but WTF, he was spouting off in that thread a WEEK ago how someone offered him basically book value for a clean V wagon and denied it and then went on about how he would be pissed if he sold it and how keeping it was a must etc etc.
I came very close to doing just that man but knew I'd be super pi**ed at myself later. She definitely has a story to be told so me keeping her is a must, The looks on people's faces when I show them pictures of before and when they see it (how it sits) is priceless. I love my Frankenstein vagon lol
I personally would not have my wagon without a sunroof. Granted I'm a younger guy (30), but that and recaro's were a must. I test drove one without the ultraview and definitely was a no/go. I do wish mine was a manual but hell I have a Vagon with recaro's and ultraview so I'm ok.

The wagons definitely have a cult following them and demand a higher price (supply and demand). Mine is a bastard with a salvaged/ rebuilt title. (Started off life as a V6 awd), it had an engine fire and I had it fully stripped and gutted and rebuilt to a v (used a rear ended totalled v sedan). With that said and done mine is showroom flawless just like factory with all options and somebody offered me very close to clean title kbb v wagon money for mine a few months ago (knowing it's full history). I thought about it but decided to keep her. Point being is the wagons will always be a saught after item especially in M6 with recaro's and ultraview.
Not really sure what his game is, but seems like he is talking out his ass and wants to believe that his car is worth V wagon money.

Honestly, this thread is almost insulting to the people here.....you're not going to get V wagon money for a salvaged V6 clone, not even close.

No exactly. Its worth what the person buying it it willing to pay.
Rebuilt Sedans/ coupes are bringing around $30k right now.

My rule of thumb on a salvage rebuilt car is they should be at %50 of clean retail the 1st year. After they are fixed they depreciate slower than a clean car. At the 5 year point when they are both out of warranty there should only be about a 20% difference.

He will come out ok on it but they just take longer to move. The big trick is it has to be an all cash deal due to the title

You better track down that make believe guy with no money and sell it to him then because you will be Powerball lucky to get 30k for this car.

Again it's my car and i have the right to ask what I want. Trust me I will get very close to what I am asking, it is just a matter of time (might be a month or two). Secondly some of you guy's really have zero clue wtf you are talking about. I actually sell rebuilt title cars every now and then and I never had an issue selling them for 20-30% less than full retail. I am very selective on what I buy and to be honest I go thru this same bs every time (comments such as these) and miraculously they all sell in less than 5 weeks for what I want. This is no different so I am not the least worried. Sorry for all the butthurt but I don't care.

Trust me I'm not hurting for money in any way, I will have a C7Z more likely before years end regardless lol. Just another stablemate for my current garage. I went through this on the corvette forum with my rebuilt title 09 Z06 and sold it in 5 weeks for exactly what I wanted (full asking) which was 25% less than full retail clean title. Some of you guys need a life smh

I think what people are saying here is.... why would I pay $45k or even 40k... for a rebuilt title v6 when I can go buy the real thing with a clean title for the same price?

If I total a clean title wagon... I get my money back... IF I totally your car I get like $10k from insurance. I normally don't fuck with people's threads on a fs transaction because I feel like another 93 cobra. ... but I think as a community we also owe it to new and lack of knowledge members to protect them... THIS would be a very bad move for a buyer... sorry. But in any educated persons eyes it is.

No offense sir, but to have the audacity to come on this forum and ask above retail pricing for a car in your condition is simply insulting. I have a lot of respect for you to rebuild the car as you did, but the only person that will pay anywhere close to the money you are asking is someone that has no fing clue what they are doing....you chose the wrong forum to list your car.

Best of luck selling it, there is a sucker born every minute, I am sure that you will find one eventually. Seriously, nice car though.

I don't really care what someone lists their car for if they've disclosed what it is. So if someone wants to buy a salvage v6 that has been cloned into a "V" (how many miles on that drivetrain?) with one key, no remote start, no warranty, and a bum radio, that's their business. Ultimately, the market will set the price for it, whether it is closer to $45k or $18k. Having bought a real vagon, if someone had said I could have instead picked this up for $25k, I might have thought about it, and not felt bad driving it into the ground and letting the kids eat cheereos in the back. That's all that's going to happen to the 2014 I paid much more for, anyway.

But the reality is that almost all the vagons been listed around here lately have been priced very unrealistically (2011s listed for more than I bought a cpo 14 six months ago?). There is a reason there has been a non-recaro one sitting around for months. Had it been priced realistically, it would have sold within a week. And the unfortunate part is that a lot of sellers end up chasing the market and get less than they would have got had they been less stubborn. That's why, when I sell a car, I always price it on the low end of other comprable available cars.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

What will happen is it will sell off of a car forum to someone and no matter what it sells for it will get posted it sold for whatever he was asking. That is the way this type of person works, we all know it will not sell for much over 25k on the internet where plenty of research data is available to everyone. Because he sold a rebuilt REAL Z06 for 25% off the clean retail pricing at the time he thinks he has it all figured out when it reality that car sold for what it was worth.

Wow! This is a deal for 45k, said no one EVER! There are plenty of real V wagons out there going for 50k, not salvage and extremely clean! How about I take it off your hands for a pair of real V wheels, real V lid and whatever other stock parts I have laying around. These are real parts, off of a real V! Not salvage btw.

I don't like clones.

Or is it that I don't like clowns?

No matter, they are both not welcome here.

my Z06 for the record was a base C6 rebuilt off of a wrecked 08 C6Z. It too was a clone AND yes I got way more money than I would have for a clean title base C6 car. Trust me you guys I know my shit. Yes I will without a doubt get north of 42K for this car and yes I'm absolutely sure of it. It won't be on here obviously because of the hate but yes it will sell for north of 42K without much effort (and yes with full disclosure). I will not get into the past 8 r-title cars I sold in the past 2 years and each and every time I go thru this on the forums lol funny thing is I've yet to be stuck with OR had to drastically reduce the price of any of my cars. I'm talking everything from a 2010 Genesis base coupe that was swapped to a 3.8 6 speed manual (2013), I sold that one for (damn near) clean title 2013 price and yes I got it.

Keep the hate coming on, it is mere entertainment for me at this point while I drive my wagon and pile the miles on. Once the timing is right I guaranty you I will get my full asking (or very close to it) without much effort. If I can find a base C7 car that is salvaged I will buy it and clone that one too to a C7Z or a 3lt Z51 car and do the same thing! Hate all you want but I will be the one in the end with satisfaction (when I'm counting my 42k+) in cash. Remember I want to sell my car I don't need to sell my car, btw anything less than 40k to me is a laugh.

I had somebody offer me 15K for my vette btw because according to his logic a base c6 with salvage title was only worth that much. I sold it a week later for 33K (was asking 36). It had some mods and like the V clone was pretty much immaculate. Lets just wait and watch, then we will really see the hate come out.

How do you document actual miles? The miles from the wrecked v6 or the transplanted LSA?? Very confusing proposition.

Would a bank finance this or is this a cash only deal??

cash only unless you got a personal loan- not that easy to get anymore they really got strict on unsecured personal loans

Maryjmoe sorry man but you are out of line on this one, original V wagon money for a burnt clone and you didnt expect to catch shit on it? If you got $30k it would be amazing and you should run to the bank with the money and never speak of it again
The car is worth low 20's and even that is a stretch never mind its a clone IT WAS BURNT
