ZL1 ten speed into a second gen V?

Howdy,

Not sure if it’s feasible or not but has anyone done their homework to see if swapping a newer Camaro 10 speed into a second gen V is possible? It would be an awesome conversion to keep our older cars up with the modern times.

That would be a hardware/software nightmare to get working.

This would make it more "up to date".

That part I could source out, I’ve got one of the best LS mechanics in the southwest who successfully just LS swapped an XLR and everything down to the AC works. My tuner is pretty spot on as well.
Very doubtful you can get it integrated well.

6 or 7 speed sequential would be dope 🤔
I wonder if A10 is possible with a stand alone ecu ?

I'd like to know the name of your LS mechanic, send a PM if you don't want to post it here...

The software hacks necessary won't make it worth it, not to mention getting the hardware to play nice. Plus the mechanical aspect of fitting it in a very different car.

Just get your OEM built, new upgraded converter and a nice transmission tune.
