Thank you, definitely a better way of searching but I think I came across most of those threads doing my research. Only one of them really went into the potential benefits/downsides of running 2 pumps in series but only one person had any real world experience (and it was positive, but also sounded like he was just correcting an issue with an already weak or dying primary pump).Search Google and use ctsvowners.com at the start of your query. high flow pump is going to burn current, not much different than a compound pump setup. Reach out to Carl @ vaporworks, or Brian @ DCC for a PWM controller solution.Thank you, definitely a better way of searching but I think I came across most of those threads doing my research. the other threads were about two HX’s in series, not pumps.
Still haven’t seen anyone try to run two davies Craig’s. Hoping since they became so much more popular with trunk tank setups since that 2013 thread was made, maybe someone has tried it. If not, I guess I might be the first. I have nothing to lose since I have a spare davies craig pump I’m using in hellcat swapped 70 challenger I’m building so it wouldn’t be hard to swap that onto my LSA car when summer comes and do some back to back testing.
I was going to just upgrade to a CWA400 but I hate the idea of all that amp draw and most of the PWM controllers I’ve seen guys use don’t seem like the best quality. Reliability is as much of a concern for me as performance since I drive the car 3+ hours to track events.
in any event though, it’s frustrating spending time researching, writing out posts and having them deleted without reason. If it’s a glitch with the forum that someone could help me fix that would be awesome. If not I think I’ll just stick to the Facebook groups then. I like learning from you guys and I feel like I can bring some good experience to the table as well but never been on a forum where my threads were deleted like that lol. It’s not like I’m posting the 100th “what size tire can I fit” threads. These aren’t questions that have been asked and answered a million times, I wouldn’t think most here would mind the discussion as it could benefit others as well.
