WTF?

Anyone know what is up with this forum and deleting posts? I've made multiple posts that were deleted shortly after being made. Latest one was a tech question in the cooling section asking if anyone had tried the efficacy of a twin pump setup run in series (Davies Craig 150's in particular) versus one larger pump like a CWA or EMP. I've searched exhaustively and haven't found anyone who has done any testing on the subject, and I figured the information discussed would be helpful to anyone looking for alternatives to a super high amp draw pump setup for their trunk tank. I actually have a spare DC pump I was going to plumb in to the return side and share some data come summer time.

But once again, my post was deleted about 2 minutes after posting. Not sure if this is a glitch or what, but I think I'm done with these forums. Seems like a great group of people and a lot of great tech info, but I've never been on any forum before that deleted threads that could be potentially beneficial to the community.

Please tell me this is some sort of glitch and not a post nazi controlling the forums lol.

Thinking it might be a glitch because I just noticed my post count says 1, but i've posted here many times in the past and even have a thread in the 'build threads' for my car a few years back. Sorry for posting this in the new member section but there was no forum help section so this seemed like the only way to get the admin's attention.

Thank you, definitely a better way of searching but I think I came across most of those threads doing my research. Only one of them really went into the potential benefits/downsides of running 2 pumps in series but only one person had any real world experience (and it was positive, but also sounded like he was just correcting an issue with an already weak or dying primary pump).

the other threads were about two HX’s in series, not pumps.
Still haven’t seen anyone try to run two davies Craig’s. Hoping since they became so much more popular with trunk tank setups since that 2013 thread was made, maybe someone has tried it. If not, I guess I might be the first. I have nothing to lose since I have a spare davies craig pump I’m using in hellcat swapped 70 challenger I’m building so it wouldn’t be hard to swap that onto my LSA car when summer comes and do some back to back testing.

I was going to just upgrade to a CWA400 but I hate the idea of all that amp draw and most of the PWM controllers I’ve seen guys use don’t seem like the best quality. Reliability is as much of a concern for me as performance since I drive the car 3+ hours to track events.

in any event though, it’s frustrating spending time researching, writing out posts and having them deleted without reason. If it’s a glitch with the forum that someone could help me fix that would be awesome. If not I think I’ll just stick to the Facebook groups then. I like learning from you guys and I feel like I can bring some good experience to the table as well but never been on a forum where my threads were deleted like that lol. It’s not like I’m posting the 100th “what size tire can I fit” threads. These aren’t questions that have been asked and answered a million times, I wouldn’t think most here would mind the discussion as it could benefit others as well.

high flow pump is going to burn current, not much different than a compound pump setup. Reach out to Carl @ vaporworks, or Brian @ DCC for a PWM controller solution.
Spam filter caught your thread and the reason was something like this…

I’m not sure why. Did you ask something similar on another forum?

I generally don’t do much to these, as I wasn’t given any formal direction/instruction on how to deal with these.

Would you prefer to have that thread approved and this one deleted, or just keep this one? Your choice.

Thanks for the reply! That’s a relief, I was starting to thinking someone just hated me and was deleting my posts lol. Never posted anything similar. It seemed to delete it after I edited and I think that happened the last time my post was deleted too, so maybe it had something to do with the filter seeing multiple edits in a short period of time.
I guess you can delete this one, I’ll repost with a bit more info as to what I’m looking to do and figure if I test it out and get some data in the summer I could update the thread.
thanks again for taking a look into it.

That could still be true. Which you will realize once you've been on the forum for a while... :)
