Just like the title says….is it worth posting or just swap to a LS2?

I bought my V1 a few weeks ago so I’m looking to do some bolt-on mods. Didn’t know if this is really worth doing? Any input appreciate. Thanks!

Depends on how much additional air you're getting through it. A little bit more shouldn't be a problem. A lot more might be. On my LS6 Z06, the way I determined that was to install the TB and then log Long Term Fuel Trims. They drifted up (because the ECM has to add more fuel to keep the O2 sensors happy, because the mix is leaner than it expects, because the intake plenum is flowing more air than it expects, because the TB has been ported), but stayed under 10. If they'd gone higher, I'd have tuned the ECM to bring them back down. I think they maxed out at "25" so I figured I really didn't need to worry too much about it.

Wouldn’t the open loop part of the MAF frequency still need to be adjusted?

Ok I see what you’re saying. I had a C5Z a while ago and had the TB ported by VMAX which no tuning needed afterwards. I did feel a difference in response.
