If I do the the following mods, will I be able to drive it to a tuner that’s about 60 miles away?
Not sure if the car will be safe to drive or if it should be flatbedded.
- 4” CAI
- 160 Degree Thermostat
- Metco 2.50" Supercharger Pulley
- Metco Solid Isolator Coupler
- Injector Dynamics ID1050 Injectors
- 8-Rib Supercharger Belt
- NGK TR6 Spark Plugs

The only deal killer is the 1050’s, likely won’t run on stock tune.

Other option is take ECM to your tuner and have them put a base tune in that will run your mods.

If you have HPtuners you could change the injector scaling yourself just to get it drivable or have your tuner send you a base map with it done.

Change the injectors at the tuners shop. Doesn't take long.

Is there any write ups or videos on changing the injectors? Ive never done them before but I’m guessing it’s not rocket science

It’s not hard to swap injectors but it absolutely sucks doing it on a hot engine.

If you have AAA, use that to get it towed there. I’ve done that to get it to my tuner, to avoid a tow that would have been a few hundred bucks.

Any suggestions who I can send the snout and throttle body to get cleaned up?
Steve Boldizar at Power Dynamics. He is a vendor here, does excellent work at good prices.

What I’m after is getting 550hp at the rear wheels based on the mods I listed in the beginning of the post. To change the pulley I will have the snout off and the throttle body is an quick easy job and since they will be tuning it I figure I would have it “ported.” Is the work not worth the money?
