On my way home yesterday and a Genesis GT with all the typical shit on it..it set nice and made some noise but.... for some reason, he wanted to run up my ass and mess with me.. I ignored him for several miles.. finally at 45ish in second, I laid down about 20 yards of my new tires beside him.. if that didn't convince him, im sure it was his windows rattling with my exhaust as i went by...2" headers, 2.5" catless and Corsa mufflers...lol

I agree with you about the cars that want to challenge the V's now but if you are spinning expensive rubber you aren't gaining speed, he could easily have passed you while you made a bunch of noise. I was recently embarrassed by a Tesla Model 3 at a light, I was spinning and he was just going like a remote control car, AWD electric wins every time. Definitely sucked but mine did sound much cooler, he just didn't notice because he was ahead of me, lol.

Lol, we don't have much chance from a dig but still think we are having more fun, I personally love feeling the ass get a bit loose, the SC screaming, and my exhaust getting loud. The drags are the only way to give us a chance from the light but not sure I want to go that route for a car I just love driving whenever the weather allows, barely able once temps go below 50 with PSS tires. On a track I think this is still one of the most capable cars for the money. Last year my wife reserved me track time on a course here in UT, I was so excited but then pussied out because I was afraid of wrecking the car. I will never probably have a car like this again and can't afford to replace it. This was my mid-life crisis gift to myself, lol.

So far, the only cars I've got to play with on the highway were 2 5.0 mustangs and one 392 skatpack chargers. All three were pitifully slow. They seemed so slow to me, I feel like my daily driver F150 would beat them.......lol

Last time I drove the V to work a guy in a KIA Stinger kept trying to get me to run him at 4 different lights. I get on the highway and set my cruise at 85 and guess who comes up next to me. He tried to take off and I let him get the jump and then I put the hammer down. I waved as I flew by.

No black out. Old school Chrome guy. Happy with the stock wheels. If anything will replace them with Chrome stockers.

It goes both ways. Last weekend I tried to get a McLaren to play (nothing obnoxious), but he would have none of it.

Looks like an 720S... thats a 10.20 car.. not out of the realm of hurting his feelings with a V...but you're right, it does go both ways.. from a dig he would hurt most V's feelings but from 60, there's some that will give him a run..

I saw him as we were pulling into the freeway. He was going. So. Slow. Couldn’t go slow enough for him to get beside me. I think he has just went thru the McD drive thru, so he was focused on his fries.

My friend had a PORSCHE GT3 and he is a track rat.
He told me he sold the car because it changed the way he drove (he was afraid to wreck).
One reason why I built a simulator, plus I can choose different cars.

I tell my students to tape a check worth the value of the car on the dash. If you can afford to cash it then drive it the way you want - without me in the car.

Kudo's to your friend with the GT3 for recognizing that it changed the way he drives. Most people never get to that step.
