Do Cdn and American cars use a different frequency for their FOB's? If so, has anyone picked up an aftermarket one that works?

I've noticed caddy FOB's with uncut keys on amazon, ebay, etc for much better prices than the dealer. Want to make sure I buy one that will work.

I’d doubt it’s any different, you would just have to do the learn process for the additional fob then have the blade cut at local dealer

I'm in Canada and bought the following to get a cpl replacement fobs:

Haven't got the key cut yet but was able to get the car the recognize the fob. There also a singular fob purchase option

That is exactly what I wanted. A link to a product confirmed to work in a Canadian car. Thanks!
