Put some diffusers under the bumper. Looks pretty good I think.

Looks nice, Jim.

Thanks! Got these from eBay after seeing a similar version on another members sedan. They are Carbon fiber print which I assume is accomplished by hydro-dipping. $28 for the pair and in my opinion, look like they belong there.

I think I know the post you referenced, and was thinking of getting them for my sedan.
After seeing yours, I think one made up my mind.

For the price, ya really can't go wrong. I like that they look good without over doing it.

Sold the 69 because I was getting married (regret #2) and had the 65 plus a daily driver.

Sold the 65 because I mistakenly test drove a V2, thought I rarely drive this car, and omg the V2 drives so nicely and then an animal.

I’ve thought about putting a 69 trans am replica on a c6 torque tube chassis, perhaps.

I was very active on the PY forums for years.

Do it! That would be awesome

One day when I get to the rebuild of the caddy block.. I will rebuild and put it into the GTO. And save the numbers matching block and tranny. And new motor for the caddy....

Removed eibachs and put new factory springs on, as well as new rear shocks. I had to use a spring compressor to get it all situated up front but the rears were easy. Took 3x as long on the first side as opposed to the second, which is the way it goes. Ended up reusing the front strut retainers since whoever installed the Eibachs didn't do anything, no cutting bump stop, no removing dust cover or rubber puck on the shock either LOL. No wonder it was so squeaky.

I'm blown away by the ride quality now. It soaks up bumps so much better.

I also installed Arnott shocks in the rear. They seem to be working just fine but I've only put like 15 miles on them lol.

@ThunderIOne. Are you going to Cars and Coffee at the superspeedway tomorrow? I think I saw you on I-65 a few weeks ago, but we were in my wifes tahoe. I never see any other V's out when I'm driving mine.

That's tomorrow? I will be working unfortunately. You may have seen me on 65 in late January, that was when that M550i wanted to race me.
I have a University of AL plate. I have only seen two other Vs around town so far but they seemed to be rare one-offs.

Sorry, not tomorrow, it's Saturday morning starting at 8. I'll be there for a little while.

I drive mine to work from time to time. Usually with the stock wheels on it, but right now I have the welds on it.

nice! I unfortunately won't be in town this weekend, but I will keep an eye out for any dates in the future. I haven't been to C&C before but I know a few people that go fairly often.

Yes, it has a 15" conversion. I went just as fast on 17" ET streets, but the 15" stuff hooks even when my local track is less than ideal.

That’s good to know! Eventually I’ll probably do the conversion but no need at my current power levels at the moment in my opinion

Installed a DDP intake and adjusted the airflow. Very nice intake!
