Loaded a new tune and went for a drive. Was rich on the WOT burst (I added more fuel to be safe) so will need to pull back a bit of fuel, but no KR so that was good. Felt really strong definitely has more top end power. The IAT2 was also lower at the top during the WOT burst so she is breathing better. Boost is about 1.5lbs lower now which also helps with temps.

works to keep the panel from flying off... you would think if you were GM and did the Nurburging you would have experienced this and made the part more robust. two bolts and some push pins don't cut it.

Nope. Not unless additional tie wrapping (which I did the second tie around).

When they go, they will pull out the brake ducting and fuck up the fender liners.
Good call. Definitely gonna tie strap it in a few places.

Not the best pic but officially running coupe rear wheels all around (19x10 +40). Sure feels nice not having spacers.

275/35/19 all around. Aiming to push 285s & maybe 295s next year.

Still rocking Ontario plates. Gotta stay true to the roots lol

Wow that looks great, no rubbing? Did you have to mess with camber in the front?
Camber is untouched from my alignment last year. Probably around -2.2 degrees in the front, little less on the rear.

Front doesn't rub at all. Rears rub on hard turns. Gonna do some fender pulling over the winter and aim for 295s. Might have the raise the car slightly for that but I'm going for it.

Finally got around to installing my ALM mounts.

Took me about 6-7 hours with plenty of beer breaks/swearing/reminiscing on every DIY job I've ever done to date.. lol. It wasn't fun but they're in (Read: fuck 2" headers).

Surprisingly the driver mount was still intact but the passenger side was pissing fluid. Both mounts were changed around 40k miles ago when I installed all my mods.

She'll get a proper shakedown tomorrow but now I'm off to drown myself in more beer & let my arms recuperate.

Please keep us updated. I'm going to install mine whenever I finally get around to installing the turbo kit, and the headers are OFF. I've had a pair of ALM mounts for a couple of years now... Really want to get them installed.

So since I posted in the wrong place, I did a couple of things last week.

Went Cal Hartline's. He had gotten in some DDPs and I scooped one up and got a good deal on a NW boosted 103. So went from St Pete to Melbourne to have install and tune.

I also arranged for a spray on clear bra from Dip Your Car applied Orlando by ProDip. They were the only authorized shop within a 600 mile drive from me. Had them do the front and rear bumper fascias, which I just had repainted for chips and scratches, along with the hood.

I'm going to have the hood, fenders, and rest of the body cut and buffed, then ceramic coated...looking into the different types and application styles.

I like the clean look of the DDP, like Airaid intake.

Certainly can hear the whine more now.
