So I’m looking for a catch can that works great for my set up , I have the airraid intake so I can’t use the dedicated motorsports catch can and the migty mouse I was told it’s not good , what other catch cans are out there that are good I want to mount it in back of the zl1 lid , I’m pushing 600 + on my 2010 ctsv, I recently installed my mods I want to keep as much oil out the Frsh lid lol getting ready for ls fest west 2023

Curious who you were told by that the Mighty Mouse isn’t good? A lot of guys here running it with great success.

For your mods you’re fine with a moroso catch can imo. And Mighty Mouse wild is a good catch design and that will be what I upgrade to further down the road to madness in pursuit of speed
I have a dual Saiku Michi that works well, and was able to stuff it into the the Airaid space. Tight.
Also curious about why the Mighty Mouse was deemed as not good? I’ve been running it for a while and it’s been fine

Mighty Mouse appears to be the most thoroughly "designed" system I've seen. Everything else seems to just be a bucket with some mesh in it. I run the MMWild (significantly 'wilder' build) and I love it so far.

I also have heard great things about the MightyMouse catch can. That said, I chose the Elite Engineering E2X for my project car. I’m very happy with it.
Love my Mighty Mouse I’ve seen them on a lot of high hp builds
In general the mighty mouse would be great if the check valve works 100 pct of the time and only vents to the atmosphere on high crankcase pressure then closes immediately. That would be presuming that your engine is making positive crankcase pressure well in excess of atomospheric. Would love to see it with someone with a crankcase pressure sensor experiences it venting and it indeed does not let unmetered air in. Overall it seems people have not had an issue with unmetered air so it must at a minimum be no more harmful than a regular catch can
I was told it doesn’t hold no oil , ( my builder says ) so I went with a dedicated motor sport one but since I have the airraid it doesn’t fit it’s only for 5 inch intakes that go down to the fog lights but Ima go with a MM catch can , choose the wild or mild ?

I had success with the BMR catch can until I went into the mid 700 range.

@random84 used one too...until he went big time.

Is it hard to install ? I’m looking to do it myself, also installing the aeroforce guage on the clock with out the Wideband should be an easy install

Super easy. Actually designed for our Vs.

If you are done with mods and not going any further then mild would be sufficient, super easy to install. Comes with everything needed including the hoses and an fittings. If your modding further in the future you would need the wild
I had a Moroso on mine and it did a pretty decent job of keeping oil out of the lid, the car was basically stock with a CAI and cutouts. Keep in mind that the Moroso unit is designed to mount to the stock CAC reservoir/fill location, so if you're going to upgrade your cooling loop (which you should) you'll have to mount it elsewhere or get a different can. After I added a DMS CAC setup the underhood tank took up the space it mounted so I went with a BMR catch can. I haven't pulled the lid since installing it so I don't know exactly how much oil it is trapping in comparison with the moroso, but oil did drain out of it during the last oil change.
I have a MM wild that I like. I ran the SM dual can for years on my "bolt ons" setup and was very pleased. I never cared for the moroso.

Your builder is obviously clueless. I'd question everything else he touches as well. Mighty Mouse holds just as much oil as any other catch can of its size. I've been running it on my 06 GTO with an LSA on E-85 for over 25K miles without issue. Pulled the lid off the LSA to get it powder coated, and there was NO oil in the SC plenum at all. I would say it gets the job done
