How much, with or without end-links?
That’s probably going to be an uphill battle. Trying to find ten people that drive their cars enough and in a manner that warrants putting them on is going to be tough. Those same ten people also have to be ok with sending wx all the money up front and waiting god knows how long. 6-8-10 months? They don’t have a great track record as of late with delivering products. Just my .02 and not meant to be a jerk. It’s a heck of a concept to have a retail business and ask people to prepay for inventory. I think they would be better off ordering 10 sets on their own dime and selling them as you would any other product. I’m not in retail so I don’t know much about the inner workings but once they have all the money there’s no real incentive to deliver in a timely manner.

I bought in the last round, which I think was a few years ago now. Made a very noticeably difference in how the car cornered. I recommend them for anyone who's just not satisfied with how "crisp" the steering response is. Car stays noticeably flatter, with much less "overshoot" in things like a lane-toss maneuver. If all you do is mash the pedal and drive in a straight line, though, they're not for you...

I might entertain it but two factors cause me great concern:
The vendor
The price

Well, I can't say much about the price. You'd be getting a custom made part, though, not something that's in volume production. So of course the price is going to be higher.

The setup was excellent quality last time around. I couldn't have been happier with the components...

Wouldn’t argue with you in terms of the quality. They are well made pieces. The problem is them requiring 10 people to send them all the money up front and then basically saying we have no idea when you’ll get your stuff. To me it’s just a shitty way to do business.
I think it’s fair to say that WPX is not making these, so I wonder if we can learn WHO builds them and what other vendors or distributors they sell through.
I mean if we could buy through Mont or DMS or DSX or whomever

WeaponX (spelled correctly) probably has an exclusive.

I think the manufacturer is here in SoCal.

If they’re made in California is it possible it’s Betts spring manufacturing ?

I don’t think so. I say this because it doesn’t ring a bell.

Perhaps Sway-A-Way.

Swaybars | Betts Spring Manufacturing not sure if it’s a viable option if someone wanted to look into it . Not something I would need . I’ve used sway-a-way axles before on a different project. Nicely made . All the sway-a-way bars I’ve seen were torsion type. They may make formed ones as well though .

Fairly certain they won’t make them for anyone else, nor do I blame them, so I would let it be.

Your right Karch , if they’re manufacturing for weapon x they shouldn’t sell them without permission . I don’t like using companies that steal intellectual property of others. Weapon X has the R and D into their products and has brought some great products to the market and should be paid on that . If a company is no longer interested in producing a product there will be other avenues explored to source suitable replacements usually . I’ve had a company tell me there wasn’t enough demand for a product I wanted to order and gave me info on supplier and specs so I’d still have access . (How I heard about Betts) The stories I’ve heard lately are unfortunate because he was quite active on the platform .
I am interested and called them and they said they still need more.

I’ll ask the price question. If we can get shows of interest that will help make it clear there is demand.

Thanks. Price, deposit required, production timeline would be my questions before I know if I'm actually interested.

Too much
100%
TBD

That’s my guess.

You are probably looking at $850-$1000 just for the bars, add $400+ for the end links. Just my guess.

I bet it’s at least 6 months before you get them. And perhaps multiple delays.

Not a slight on WeaponX but based on history of these group buys and current supply/labor conditions.
