2011 ctsv auto wagon: stored over winter(battery disconnected) can I power up thru engine boost terminals in engine compartment to lift hatch to access battery to connect? Thanks in advance

Ummm, yeah. That's not even in my thought process, it's automatic. All my garage outlets are GFCI protected.

The real deal would be to also have it plugged into a surge protector, plugged into the wall the gfci/afci stuff. All my bikes which I leave the batteries in and charge, I leave on maintainers which share a surge protected strip.
