I hoped it was the panel itself and maybe it is but I sent it in to 800 speedo who repairs clusters and they put it on the bench and both sides (tach and speedometer panels) are bright. They work on instrument clusters but that seems to be the end of their expertise. The tech said that sensors send the information but that thing has alot of info and many panes to go through. The sensors almost have to go into a computer and get turned into the signals that light up the panel. So....I'm hoping someone on this forum sees this and knows how these panels work. The VIP on the speedo side works.
