Are these 2 the best out?

Anybody out there that would like to get rid of yours? If so, I'll take it!

Also, where would be my best bet for a new detector?

Thanks for helping a noob out :p

I have the Escort 9500CI in my Vagon, and the 9500ix in my Tundra. I can smell pigs from a mile away, at least the lazy ones that leave there radar on. And the Laser shifters have saved my ass.

I also have a Valentine that I do not use if you are interested in it. Make me an offer I can't refuse.

Personally, if I weren't in the radar-hating state of Virginia, I'd be running my old Valentine One. Being able to read multiple #'s of signals with the arrows giving you situational awareness is huge! The 9500ix is cool if others are using the Cloud though.

I have a V1 in my truck and the ix in the wife's truck. Every time I am driving her truck and it goes off I look at it for the arrows! The GPS function in the ix is kick ass. I would probably go with the ix.

talked to someone who did the bullrun and was running both, he said valentine1 hands down
I've run both units at the same time and received much better results with the V1 on suburban highways and out on the interstate. In town it seemed like they were very evenly matched, but the 9500ix definitely seems more suitable if you do a lot more city driving where the red light camera and location delete would come in handy.

I have the Beltronics STi Magnum simply b/c its invisible to police radar detector-detectors. It works just as good as the 9500ix, but I'll be selling it once I move to Arizona and getting another V1.

V1 here and love the directional output. Now if they added GPS, it would be the the mofo for sure.

I have a mirror mount purchased from eBay. Soldered some leads to a couple of vga pins from an adapter kit from radio shack and stuck them into the mirror plug. Works great and mount is 3 axis adjustable.
