Vagon rear hatch dog options?

So one reason why this Vagon is now ours is because we knew we'd be getting a sizable dog. We now have an Anatolian / Caucasian Shepherd mix. Unsure of his parents - but this guy should be at least 80, if not exceeding 100lbs.

He will be in the back. I'd like to both either consider a cage (less desirable), or a semi permanent partition over the rear seats.

I'd also like to see where I might be able to secure mounting points to clip into for a harness (dog seatbelt).

I'd prob also be getting a liner for the back - so welcome suggestions for that.

Cheers all.

Good question, I don't know the answer but I wonder if there are any good solutions for the wagons.

I have a big SUV for my dogs and they just go in the way back without any partition or anything. Just a big comforter for them to lay on.
Maybe the OEM cargo net works as a partition, if you can find one.

Net for V wagon..

22759250 - Cargo net.
Parallel Drawing Rectangle Sketch Automotive window part

Then you could look for the cargo anchor tie down points that for in the cargo rails. 22745520.

Can be seen in lower right in this thread:

Hope that helps.

If the oem one isn’t available weathertech used to offer a adjustable one that I had in a Toyota wagon a few years back, just uses tension so it’s easy in and out when you don’t need it
The Vagon should have come with a cargo divider stored under the rear cargo floor. It can attach to the B-pillars to block off the 2nd row, or to the C-pillars to block off the cargo area.

OEM for both the net and the tiedowns. I also use a Lloyds mat, the real thick kind, in the rear for my dogs.

I think I found it! No joke, she came home yesterday and I went and looked under the rear and was like what is this thing - haha.

Let me know if you've got tips / tricks or if the manual has instructions for installing. This is like perfect. I ordered a motor trend mat from amazon since I needed one ASAP.

Dude today went from the rear cargo area to drivers seat in under 10s when I got out of the car to make sure I could park it.

Took my wife and dog on our maiden voyage in my Audi wagon. Put dog in crate in back end and we all traveled well.

It's been awhile since I've used mine, so any hints I've had, I've forgotten. The manual should have the instructions for installing it. I don't remember it being too difficult.
It's easy. If you have difficulty then ask.
