Well, I just fell into a deal on a 2012 CTS-V sedan that I just couldn't pass up, and naturally went looking for CTS-V forums to learn more about my new ride, and this forum appeared to be the most active. It's got the triple-black paint (which I wouldn't have chosen, living here in Albuquerque, New Mexico where the sun can turn a black car into an oven in just a few minutes), but it was too good a deal otherwise. It's only mods are a CAI and catch can, so I've got lots to do. It appears that there's a lot of good info on this site, so I've got some reading to do!

Welcome, have fun with your new V! I can appreciate the triple black as it relates to heat. We've been experiencing an extended heat wave up here in the PNW for the past month, just a couple more days is the 80s to swelter through this week.

Having personally spent a couple of Summers in Whidbey, Port Orchard, Manchester, I have some personal empathy for ‘narrow comfort zone’ folks of the PNW.
