Anyone know what this connector is for? Its under the dash by the steering column.

Does it just dangle there?

Being the wires are in pairs of the same color it's probably a distribution block. I bet those green tabs have connectors on the inside joining multiple wires together.

I think it's power distribution (maybe dash lighting?), and doesn't connect to anything. There should be a mount, like those white plastic things that hold the radiator fan connectors to the shroud, within reach of the wiring so that it will not dangle.
