I walked to my car today after lunch and saw this (the scratch around the headlight):mad::mad::mad:

Not sure if someone backup into or bumped it, I did get a police report just in case to see if they can pull the videos from the parking lot but not sure if it will get me anywhere.

I will get it checked out by my mechanic to see if there is any damage under the bumper (light, sensors seems to be working fine and I can not seem to find any miss alignment in any panel)

if all checked out I might just fix to with touch up the paint instead of going through insurance to replace the whole bumber so it does not affect the value of the car, any suggestion on where I can get a good touch up paint pen? or what do you suggest to minimal fix the issue without painting the whole thing? this is a 18 Glacier edition

Dr. Color Chip.
Thanks, i checked their site and it doesn’t look they have the Glacier color. I guess why would they do that for only 115 cars made in that color :(

Appears to be the same color as Ceramic Matrix Gray available on the Corvette. Check using the paint code or Corvette info.

Are you sure thats not Crystal White Tricoat G1W? Thats what my car is and it looks identical. I dont see Glacier as a listed color for that year. In any case, I had good luck with TouchupDirect. Their base and tint coat matched really well, but I didnt care for the pen applicator. I thought it would be like the GM touch up ball point pens, but it was more of a felt tip marker. It just took a little finesse to get the paint to flow into the crack.

TBH, that is a little past touch up territory but I dont know that I would cough up the big bucks to have that painted either. Depends how much it will bother you. If it is strictly paint damage and not plastic deformation, you could have the bumper painted. A skilled painter could just spray base over the repair locally and then clear the whole bumper, preventing color mismatch or the need to blend the fender/hood, if its not already mis-matched. If you look at most cars with pearl or metallic colors, then bumpers dont match the body from the factory anyway.
