TorqueSpecs

In case anyone needs torque specs for various bolts and some other stuff I downloaded while I was in the techlink site. In case you dont know, you can go to Acdelco site and find your way to the Service Information section, then can purchase a 3 day(I think) subscription if you need to perform any work on your car and want to see the service manual info before tackling your project.

If anyone has torque specs for anything else, please add so maybe we can have a point of reference on this stuff especially since it's such a small community to be able to find this info. I look up zl1 specs a lot since its way easier to locate this kind of info for that car.

You sir, deserve a beer on us!
LOL at the brake squeal TSB. That copper paste doesnt work. Its the cheap pads GM puts on their cars. Both of my C6s and my V3 squealed and after trying to clean and grease everything I just changed the pads and boom. Silent

I've had brake squeal on every car I've had with brembos. I just think it's the price you pay for the performance. Did you put the same pad on as replacement and that cured the squeal or did you put different pad on?

Different pad cured it every single time. Once a performance pad from online and another time the nice ceramic autozone sells. It’s the junk pads GM uses. My first c6 had base brakes and my GS had the brembos with the little “padlets.” Both loud as hell before I changed them with a ton of meat left. My Boss 302 mustang brembos were silent. I’m just being lazy but I’ll get around to this car soon.
Ah gotcha. Glad it worked well for you. Can't really call the stock pads crappy or cheap by any means though. They are brembos pads. While I agree that the level of stopping power isn't needed for just daily driver and fun car as most owners will, the fact is they are at a different level when it comes to stopping performance. The compound is like a hybrid track/street pad and have to be metallic for those characteristics. Metallic dust like crazy, usually squeal, and will stop like no other pad. Just depends on what's important to you and what your preference is. Different applications will call for different pads, but brembos pads are some of the finest
