So my test drive didnt go well. First thing I did was connect HPtuners Pro to the AEM wideband obd2 connector, and read the ECM/TCM/FSCM. Saved that file and fired up the scanner. After a little warm up drive I got on it a bit and it threw a CEL. Immediately after the pull, I could feel the ABS system vibrating my brake pedal. The wideband read 11.4ish at WOT. I pulled the codes and there seems to be some type of communication problem.

Ill post a pic cause theres too much to type. The PO just replaced the front LCAs.

I'm going to start searching the web to see if this is a common problem, but figured I'd check here first.

I've heard that reading the tune file can sometimes cause this loss of communication for a cycle. I'll try clearing the codes. But the C0615 needs to be checked. The LCAs were just replaced. They probably fucked it.

Ground under the intake would be a good start.

Check that the positive battery cable is fully seated on the post and the clamp is fully engaged! I had the SAME issue after I replaced my battery (wagon) and I am embarrassed to admit that I was careless in ensuring the positive cable was fully connected to the terminal! I checked every ground multiple times but never even thought I didn't connect the cable correctly. Once I figured that out, never had another issue! DOH!

I found a serious leak in the trunk. Both drain hoses were clogged, and about a gallon of water filled the trunk. I cleared the hoses and that seems ok now, but these little yellow tabs are still dripping. I pulled off the tail lights and tested the body seem, no leak there. But how do I access these tabs from the outside?

I drove the car again after clearing the codes, and I'm pretty sure it was related to the heavy rain and leaking trunk. Maybe the water hit the battery, which is right near one of the leaks in the trunk. There were no CELS during the dry test drive. The little V has some pep to it. But the shocks are shot, the suspension is creaky and the brakes vibrate like crazy.

Did you make sure the bulkhead fittings at the bottom of each tube were free of debris?

But how do I access these tabs from the outside?
Remove rear bumper skin. Those tabs hold in place a filler piece just above the rear crash bar. However, a leak from these tabs would indicate a trunk seal failure, as I don't believe these tabs are exposed from above.

Yes, I cleared the tubes, fittings and the grommets on each side and tested. They no longer leak.

I was expecting to see a leak from the trunk seal area, but I did not. Only small drips from the tabs. I washed the car after this test and saw no more than a few drops under each tab.
Lesson learned kids, never buy a car without seeing it in person.

There is a fuse box in the trunk area near the battery, could be wet(?)
There are two ground points under hood: Passenger side on the back front of the shock tower, large cable and like a 13mm bolt head at the tower AND other end of the same cable at the back of the right cylinder head.. Then, on the Driver's side, under the air filter box, #10 wire , 10mm wrench size.
The one under the airbox is extra-critical as it appears to provide the nearest ground for the harness that connects to all of the fuel injectors and all of the coils.

That harness does control the front mag ride connections. It attaches at passenger firewall and runs down front across grill for horn, washer fluid etc back up to driver mag ride.

Thank you fellas, your help is greatly appreciated. I will check the ground and try to repair the harness tonight. I'll be ordering the OEM ac delco mag ride shocks since it looks like someone went with the cheapos and they are shot.

The rears appear to be delphi, which I think is AC Delco/OEM. but there's quite a bit of clunking back there. The fronts are different brand, but I forget what I saw. They are definitely shot, cause they collapse too easy.

Question, if the CEL says LEFT FRONT, does that mean from inside the car?

Hard to see from the pic, but what does it taper down to? Stock pump? What’s your IDC look like?

Tappers off to 62 under boost, but it doesnt ramp up from 50psi until about 9 pounds of boost.
ID is less than 50%. Im sure it has injectors. The tune shows all the injector fueling tables have been adjusted. I pulled the back seats and there is no acess hole for the fuel pump. The fscm tune has High Flow set to 70 or 483kpa, so i guess its doing ok-ish

Thats what the log looks like, but no signs of a drilled fuel tank. No access hole cut. No additional fuel lines underneath. Dont Vs have dual pumps from the factory? Seems to have plenty of presure and plenty of injector. Tune is fat also. Its just bolt ons and 2.4 pulley and heat exchanger, as far as i know.
