Howdy,

A few months ago I had to throttle down hard to avoid getting t boned and ever since then I have a “thump” in what feels to be the trans tunnel. I put the car on jack stands, crawled under it and can’t seem to find the source. In trying to replicate the issue, it will thump from a stand still as well as rolling. Any ideas?

Odd as it sounds, check your wheels. Maybe the lugs backed off a bit. I chased a similar issue and my rear wheel had 4/5 lugs loose. Made a hellacious noise and awful feeling on acceleration.
Other than that, maybe motor mounts are shot?

I would think if it were a wheel issue I would feel it under any level of acceleration. The engine mounts from what I understand they are oil filled and they appear dry but they are 8 years old so it may be a possibility

Should check out trans mount and carrier bearing too.

Mine would only pick up the noise/feel at 15mph & below. Above that, no issue. If motor mounts are good, check transmission mounts next.

Do you have a MT and a stock clutch? the stock clutch has a dampener for smooth engagement and over time it gets play in it and thumps. It happened to mine.
