I was @ C&C in Palos Verdes on Saturday.

Now I know why they refer to a Lexus LC500 as an ASTON MARTIN that runs.

Very similar looking.

That has to be the one of the most sleek coupe designs I've ever seen!
They really do have the same shape. Low hood and roofline, big gaping mouth grill (I like it my LX has the same predator face lol), and same really wide hips.
The LC design language is much more angular though, the Aston is more flowy

I don't think they look any more alike than, say, a Crown Vic and an Impala. Sure, they share a similar "design language", but so do many 2 door sport coupes. You could argue a Jag looks similar. Because, as they say, "form follows function". They all look similar because they're all designed to do something similar.

The same could be said about the mid engine cars sharing similar looks, which they do.

There was another car there with a sign declaring it "Not a CORVAIR!" but it sure looked like one (a VW KG that was never imported into the US)

I like that. Reminds me of the Ford/Lotus Cortina.

My friend had one of those back in the 60's and we did a run down to Tijauna from Manhattan Beach in less than 2 hours.

What a little sleeper it was.

It’s fun in Forza Horizon.

That run with your friend has to have been a blast.

Not even close
Except one has a decent looking grill and the other looks like the Predator (and not in a good way)!

Har har har. So brave. So unique.

If you don't think its a good looking car, that says more about you than the design.

I mean at least come up with something original other than an old tired overused joke.

I mean he's not wrong. The Lexus grilles of the latest offerings all look terrible. It's right up there with the horrendous jumbo pig snouts on the new BMW's.

Calm down there buttercup... it was a joke.

Grill still looks like 💩 though. (y)
The Lexas looks much better than the Aston. The Aston looks like a grand theft auto car
The DB9 and the V8 Vantage were beautiful designs and still look elegant today. The new DB11 and Vantage look very fussy to my eyes.
