I've been recommended these heads. Any pros or cons vs porting the stock heads?

Also, if I'm running a cam and ported or upgraded heads, would 90mm Tb do the job or go with the 103mm.

Thanks

I ran my 90 TB quite well, into the Jokerz 1.9. I only went 103 because...well a decent deal.

The M311 heads are about a million times better than the stock heads as far as performance. They are cast in China and then CNC'd here in the US. They still use the stock size intake valve, but the exhaust valve is a 1.6" I believe and you can upgrade the valves if you want to, but the stainless they come with are pretty good for most applications. The heads have a 3/4" deck, extra provisions for head bolts (useless if you don't have an aftermarket block), Exhaust manifold O-ring grooves (this is amazing BTW). Because they are a taller head, they will require PR length somewhere in the 8.1" range IIRC. The intake and exhaust runners are designed better than a factory head could ever be ported to and because of the additional material in the head, valvetrain stability is increased. All and all, a great cylinder head. By buddy Tom @CSARGUNNER has them. Car has a Magnuson supercharged 7.0L Dart Iron Block setup and his shit grips it and rips it.

Get the 103mm TB for sure.

My parts guy recommended I get these . I believe porting was roughly 1400 plus shipping . These after marked heads at the time were 2400 if I recall correctly . He suggested I sell my stock heads which I did for around 700 so I ended up getting better heads for I think 300 dlls more over porting .
