I used this submersible Russell hose
That's very good hose. Unfortunately, it won't work on the CTS-V application because the the pump connection is 90 deg to vertical and down in the bottom of the bucket, and on a plastic nipple. The hose has to be able to bend 90 degrees along a half-inch radius without kinking while also not breaking the nipple off.

I do agree that using the DW PRV is unnecessary and counter productive.

The OEM or ZR1 relief valve is a better option.

The next time I pull the pump assembly, I'll use the ZR1 PRV. Not much use in going above 70psi as the higher pressure results in less flow for the DW pumps - not helpful for most.
