That’s an exciting pile of parts . Who are you getting to port the heads and is that a 2.0 or 2.5 cam ? Looking forward to seeing what you can do with it next summer .
The Next Phase!
I might be late to the V performance upgrade party but I gotta tell ya this is the best "hot rod" I've ever owned in all of my years of muscle car ownership, (not that I had a TON of them over the past 40 years). I had an absolute blast this past summer and the car exceeded my expectations running a best ET @ 10.86 and multiple 129mph 1/4 mile laps, wheels up too! This is with SBE, stock cam, stock injectors, shifting at 6,100 rpm with full stock interior.. blows my mind! I have gotten a ton of positive comments on the car too, what it's all about right?

So of course I'm excited to embark on the next round of "mods" as they say, and I'm anxious to start wrenching after Xmas. I don't want to rush into this because it's a looonng and cold winter where I come from LOL, and if I get it done too soon the anticipation would drive me nuts!
Can you guess what I'm doing next?? 🤷♂️

Balancer, lower pulley, ported stock heads not shown because a) I don't have them just yet b) I haven't disassembled the engine yet either.
Takes me back to when I was 18 years old, when I purchased my very first aftermarket aluminum SBC intake and Holley 650 DP and other parts, proudly on display on my bedroom dresser waiting for spring to install, (back then, dad didn't have a heated garage to work in)
