What’s up everyone, after years of wanting one, i was finally able to find one i could buy. Had her goin on 2 months. Shes got her miles, 104k of them, but shes a great daily even in NY. Bone stock, just a few blacked out pieces. Muffler/res delete. Anyone else w a high mile V w some pointers?

Btw: nicknamed her the BLVKPRL, fastest ship in the ocean for my pirates of the Caribbean fans 🤣

Routine maintenance and proper up keep and she should be fine. I’m at 130k miles

love to see it. I had to do a coolant hose replacement the other day. Originally thought it was the waterpump, my buddy who works at caddy said thats what it was. Welp now i got a spare waterpump for the future 🤣

Wealth of knowledge on this forum of how to keep these cars running fast and healthy. Cooling mods are a big topic once you start adding power.

Get an alignment, and find out which bushings up front are wearing out.
Replace the rear dif fluid every other oil change.
Get her into boost weekly.

146K 2011 Coupe for me. What year? Auto or Manual? Recaros? Sunroof? Mod plans? Goals? Spill, dude!
sorry i just saw this haha, damn 146k!?
i have a 2010 auto (couldnt afford todays market for a 6m). Already put an intake pipe on her but def want an airaid box because im obsessed w the blower noises.

Plan is to rebuild the valve train next year and put a cam in. So pushrods, springs, valves, and trunions w a cam. Going to do pretty much everything at once if i do that tho because a cam w out pullies is apparently useless. So smaller pullies. 850cc injectors because i live in ny and get crap mileage as is. Headers, and then need a full exhaust because i dont have a res or muffler. Ik ill need a heat exchanger too so thatll be on the list. Lookin like a $10k project but should manage 700whp w my tuner.

More like ~6k bro. Just order shit ahead of time, and be ready to wait forever on the messed up supply lines/backorders.
Might need to add water+oil pumps and maybe an aux fuel to be safe.
Yeaaa shipping rn is ridiculous but not lookin to start til next year anyway so not too worried. I have a list of everything the builder needs. Just need the money

As a sidenote, I was just in Florida, and it didn’t seem too expensive to me.

Yup. Florida is superrr cheap cost of living. Plan to move there or texas one day. Was in Sarasota to go to the freedom 500 last year and i was in love lmfao

I did return home with a suntan and a bunch of insect bites that I didn’t have prior to leaving.

Subjective. I live a spit shot away from Manhattan so everyone here is expensive as hell. Wallet is crying from gas alone. $4.80 a gallon ever 2-3 days. Labor rates are nearing $200/hour. Everything is odee up here

I’d add a flex fuel kit, aux pump kit and ID 1050x injectors if you want that kind of power
