Supposed to be this high.

2018 CTS-V. I did some work on it last night, swapped out superchargers with a ZL1 unit, CAI, E85 sensor kit, might mouse catch can. The bottom reservoir had almost no fluid so I filled it to the line. After a rode its this full. I never noticed as I just bought the car not long ago but is the coolant supposed to be this high? And is there an easy way to tell if the intercooler fluid is actually flowing because installation with empty bricks it should have sucked the reservoir dry

This should be in the V3 forum but yes. Its normal. Per the manual the top reservoir needs to be full and the bottom is an overflow that should stay around that line in the middle.
Well it does say 2009 and up but thanks. Now gotta try and get the air out of my IC system
Fair enough you are right. There is a 2016+ forum that might be more helpful tho. I think you need a special tool to bleed the IC system as its closed, with some kind of QD port on it.

There's the expensive way to do it with a special tool. And then there's the way I do it with the top of a 2 liter soda bottle, rubber hose, and a stick. It's similar to this video but I fill the bottle top with about 2 inches of coolant and use the stick to open the valve. I wired a switch to the fuse box that runs the IC pump. With the valve open, i run the pump for about 30 seconds to top off the coolant and get any air out of the system.

Very cool idea!
