Hey all is anybody waiting on a V3 supercharger? My 2019 is at the dealership under a warranty claim to replace the SC but seems they are on a back order. I also reached out to Cadillac customer care and they have been giving me weekly updates that there is no ETA or status on when it might get shipped to the dealership. Also, I was told by the service manager that the tech said it has to do with pins inside the SC which is causing a small hole and vacuum which and is affecting airflow.

After about 2 months ownership I took it into the dealership for slow throttle response. They changed fluids in the transmission and reset the control module Was told to drive it like I wanted it to perform so I took that the heed and drove it pretty hard. After about 1500 it was like a light switch on performance and was much better, I guess the previous owner drove it like 1970's caddy. After 2500 miles the add engine oil light came on, put in a qt of oil and took it back to dealership for an oil consumption test.

Then about 2 weeks after getting it back I got engine codes P2098 and P0157. They updated the ECU per TSB 18-NA-341 and it was good for a few weeks then came back driving about 35mph to the grocery store :( That's when I took it back and now they are replacing the SC under warranty but due to the back order not sure when I'll get it back. I also need to vent about my BB Fusion Catback Exhaust but that's for a different thread.

Has anyone else on here with v3 have the issue with the SC or know when they might be available? I've only had the car since last November and it's now been at the dealership for about 2 months or more.

Well that's not hopeful :( I'll be moving out of state in a couple months so hopefully they have one before then, if not I wonder if I'll need to fight with Cadillac to have them transport it.

I have a full bumper to bumper GM warranty to 100K (CPO wrap) but this is discouraging to hear that if something goes wrong, they might not be able to fix it for months due to supply issues. Kinda defeats the purpose. I may switch to a third party mechanical warranty that way I could have a shop use aftermarket.

Mine took out my motor, faulty oil pump, took 6 months last year, the warranty isn't worth shit now. I'm going back for some carbon panels, but the dealers are jack shit they turn everything away.

Wow that blows man, I'm hoping my engine is OK as my warranty expires in March. I agree the dealers are shit, they changed the oil with the SC and didn't tighten the drain bolt all the way so I had a slow leak. I am thinking of doing Cam, headers, TB and SC porting plus all the supporting upgrades after the warranty expires but might extend it for a year just to make sure the engine is OK. What kind of error codes or issues were you facing when it took out the engine?

Dealers were basically ignoring warning signs due to parts shortages.

If you got a new block, compression and bleed down, then go down the mod tunnel.

I can.... hardly follow your style of writing. Maybe you're... having... communication issues with your dealers that.... give you so much... trouble
I agree. I'm trying to follow along with @Ice-947 's replies, but somehow a string of non-sequitur utterances do not a coherent sentence make. I'm still struggling with the dealer's refusal to step up and warranty a "max effort procharged 9 sec" car... the utter gall! And in another reply: if the guy got a new block...why the comp test, again?

I don't know.

I'll go be surly elsewhere.

Sorry boys, and no that's not the case. I had these issues when the car was bone stock. I only started modding after the engine was taken out by a faulty oil pump and I waited months for the repair. Then I decided why not mod. The dealer refused to step up on several issues including a transmission issue which ultimately took it out.

So no, I don't have the idiocy of trying to screw my dealer, but around here they don't see too many Vs in general, none the less modded.
