I couple months back my car was park for about two weeks. When I finally went to the car to star it, a lot of water was in the driver floorboard. I cleaned all drains and everything seemed good.
Fast forward to today. My car was scheduled to be tuned by National Speed. Got a call that they couldn’t talk to the ecu and the floorboard was wet. Dang it. After finishing my mods I parked the car in the drive way to have it towed to National speed. Man it rained two night ago and something got wet that wasn’t suppose to. None of my dash gages are working and the tranny will not shift out of first gear. This happened before and I let everything dry out. My question is, what if anything can get wet and cause these symptom? That is in advance. I know this dang sunroof needs to be looked at

You might want to search, there are lengthy discussions about the sunroof leaks.

Good luck.

Sir my question was more geared toward what if anything in the floorboard would cause the symptoms I mentioned. Also when this happens i get tranny codes and the car will not shift out of first gear.

Have you removed your carpet to allow it to dry completely? As there is two inches of padding/cushion beneath the carpet as sound deadening. The spongy composition allows it to hold a significant amount of water.

My leak was the result of a disconnected drain tube at the sunroof frame. Pull the headliner and have someone run a hose with no nozzle over the roof while you search for the leak from inside. That is, if you haven't already done so.

I haven’t done that yet but I’m going to have to. Thanks for the reply

Most likely water entered your center stack and caused some issues. Fixing the drain plugs where they exit the car - all FOUR drains - is the best thing to do for keeping your car dry.
