I have taken my car to the dealer twice for this ever so sneaky squeaking sound. One day it will be completely silent, the next it will squeak when coming to a stop, really creak when you pull into a drive with and type of incline and then be completely gone again. It sounds like a shock or maybe a control arm??

Have any of you had this issue yet? Thoughts on what it could be? It of course, never does it for the dealer. Still under warranty, but they keep telling me they don't hear it when I drop it off. Once the service guy heard it,then when the tech took it out it was quiet as a mouse again.

I am puzzled.

I had this problem. The dealer traced it to a piece of rubber between the fender and A-pillar. They replaced it and it was quiet for a couple months but its started it again. Now that I know what it is it doesn't bother me as much as before

Don't you hate when you bring the car to the dealer and they can't replicate the problem! When its cold out and I haven't driven my car for a few hours, I leave work and go over a speed bump and hear the worst squeaking noise/creaking from the front suspension it seems.. I brought it to the dealer awhile back and they obviously couldn't replicate the issue but mentioned it might be a bad bushing. Thinking about taking it back again but it just might be a waste of time.. i kind of just want to make sure it doesn't affect my steering or anything..

Had the same problem, the colder the temp the more the front suspension would squeak and when it was warm it didn't as much.It was coming from the front upper control arm.

just spray some white lithium grease on them
So this isn't an issue where I have to change a part? Just spray some lithium grease on the sway bar bushings and wala?? Sprayed some of that stuff on my daily driver cause it was making squeaking noises during slow turns and it did the trick.

I'm having a creaking issue with the front driver side suspension making that noise. Sometimes it'll even happen from just turning the tires even when sitting still but usually it's from as you said, starting onto an incline, going over speed bumps etc. Though mine won't do it when it's colder, only when warmer. Will be taking back to the dealer for this and the TPMS again hopefully for some kind of resolution.

Is your car lowered?

I have this noise as well. For me it is most notable when going into big dips and a decent speed. The QC guy at my dealership had me drive with him through a mobile home park with speed bumps and sure enough it made the noise every time we went over a bump. They tightened the bolt that holds the front carriage to the main body (this is what they told me) and it much better now. I do still hear the noise when I really hit a big dip that causes the suspension to compress on one side more than the other. I hope this helps, but I do not think it is a major issue.

Just had my coupe in for a constant squeak that was coming from the passenger side front suspension, when going over a speed bump or turning into my driveway.. They replaced the sway bar bushings and it was good for a couple days....AND.... Now it's back.. Along with the ear piercing rear brake squeeling that they apparently tried to fix and obviously can't... I've owned the car for about 5 weeks now, and this dealership basically told me that I'll just have to live with...such awful service....

I had the same problem which I thought was the right front suspension. Turned out to be the front fender rubbing on A Pillar. Dealer loosened bolts to front fender and moved it about 1mm and problem solved

The front cradle can cause front suspension squeaks & rattles. Have the dealer inspect it for any signs of shifting & that the fasteners are torqued to spec. If the cradle isn't aligned & torqued to spec it will manifest a host of problems. I had this happen and it contributed to the failure of a front right wheel hub (squeak over bumps). Sewell lowered the cradle then retorqued it to spec and the front suspension has been silent since. Interestingly enough after the repair the alignment (done before sustaining big-lateral loads open road racing) was spot-on. If you verify cradle alignment & torque you can then isolate items easier otherwise you are simply chasing your tail around. Ever see that pickup truck duck-walking in front of you..you get the idea. Good luck & unless you have a highly qualified V-specialist as your technician request that the cradle is inspected.

Did you get an answer from the dealer? I have the exact same issue as you have described it above, I've re-torqued my whole cradle with no improvement.

I have 6,500 miles on my V and it squeaks almost the entire time I'm driving it. Most noticeable when you go over a large bump or when pulling into the driveway.

I just bought the car three days ago so I'll be taking it back to get it checked out. Will report back when I get more info.

I have had the same exact noise front the front end and its annoying as heck. Feel like im driving a clunker. I replaced lower and upper controls arms, replaced all 4 shocks oem. Replaced inner and outter tie rods ends. Noise still persisted, I wd-40 the stabilizer bar bushings and noise was gone. I am sure a front end squeak can be caused by many things but this was my case.
